The suburban district of Sketty is located about 2 miles to the west of the Swansea City Centre. Sketty is within walking distance of Swansea University, Singleton Hospital, Wales's Olympic pool, Olchfa School, Gower College and Swansea bay. In addition we are surrounded by many local amenities, independent coffee shops, local pubs and bars, award winning restaurants and Singleton park which plays host to various events/concerts including BBC Proms. We are delighted to have been awarded GOLD for 'Letting Agent of the Year 2015', by the Sunday Times.

We have been dealing with Dawsons (Sketty branch) for the purchase of a property and have been constantly impressed by the service we have received. The agent we have been primarily dealing with (Sian) has been excellent from the point of initial contact, through the viewing process and most recently through the negotiation process. We have also had the pleasure of dealing with the branch Manager, who has been nothing short of excellent. She has unfailingly provided concise, relevant information, dealt with queries promptly and has represented the seller and ourselves (as purchaser) with equal fairness and honesty. I would have no hesitation in recommending this branch to any prospective seller or buyer as they provide an excellent professional service with total integrity. If you are looking for an agent who you can trust, who will go the extra mile for customer satisfaction, is pleasant and professional in their approach, then I would highly recommend this branch. I believe they have saved us and the seller time, stress and additional solicitor fees by providing such good communication early on the purchase. Don't go to anyone else to handle your property sale. The team at Sketty have been consummate professionals. They had a bit of a challenging time with us as clients - I like prompt responses and to have confidence that everything is being done according to instructions. The whole team were able to deal with anything we threw at them, with grace and charm and clear professional skills. Their expertise and energy has been very welcome. They have ensured a smooth path through what might have been a difficult process. When we first looked for an estate agent, we paid several companies a visit. Other companies simply didn't seem as energetic or committed or as welcoming. I especially would commend Helen and Alison for going above and beyond the call of duty. What always matters is the outcome, of course. Because of their professional advice, we have sold the property for £13,000 more than we first thought was achievable. Why would you go anywhere else?

FacebookWe have been reporting issues in our property for nealy 2 years now, at every 3 month inspection and several times in between. The main issue concerning us is a leaking conservatory, every single time it rains, it floods! Each time we are told 'a report has been logged', 'someone will be sent out soon', nothing has EVER been done and these issues have now escalate to the point where 1 room of our house is coated in black mould and the walls are falling off (photos attached). This is just one of the many problems we've reported and Dawsons has done NOTHING. Our 3 young children live in this house with us, it is unsafe for them and we will be reporting this to environmental health and our local councillor. Absolutely abismal, if this had be rectified when we first reported NEARLY 2 YEARS AGO, we wouldn't be in this situation. Stay well away from Dawsons.
