GoogleDO NOT RENT FROM NORTHWOOD. After 2 years of renting a property through this estate agents we had nothing but issues. All the upstairs windows in the property would not open and it took 2 years for them to be fixed ( fire risk). The boiler was broken for 2 months leaving us with no hot water or Heating ( we had a new born baby at the time) they refused to re-carpet the living room despite the carpet being 15 years old and smelling. Then said it I replaced thr carpet at my own cost they would leave our rent at the price agreed and would arrange new contract However 2 months after i paid for a new carpet they put our rent up by over 200 pound. Forcing our family to move a month before Xmas. This is just the tip of the iceberg with the issues and the staff are rude when the office Is contacted. I have been out of the address now for nearly 2 months and despite it being agreed and forms signed to return our deposit this has still not happened meaning I was 700 pound short over Xmas. Northwood are now ignoring my emails. Absolutely horrible company, rude staff and do not care about thier tenants at all and just refuse to contact you. I am currently seeking legal advice.

GoogleWe have used Northwood for a few years as our letting agent. We have then used them to sell. They knew the market well and suggested we price to get overs above and we did! Pleased with the price and the he property was only empty for a week before the sale completed. Couldn't fault them. Thank you.

GoogleCrooks. Do not rent a property from these people. House had damp problem which they knew about and are now taking out of the deposit claiming we never told them. That’s just one of the issues. Do not rent a property from them I cannot stress this enough. DO NOT RENT A PROPERTY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Dear T MR, if you could let us know which property you rented we can investigate this further. However we have a code of conduct to adhere to as well as the tenants deposit scheme of which all tenants have the right to contest any deductions they feel are not accurate. This procedure allows for an independent third party to rule on the validity of any claim that coupled with an inventory ensures the accuracy of any deposit claims. We rented the property for a year, had cold water showers for 2-3 months, no one come fix the boiler we were offered no compensation or anything. They charge absurd fees, deducted over £500 from the deposit, for absolutely nothing at all. They charged us £70 for references...they are an absolute joke!

Daniel Harris is a despicable man and the worst bottom feeder I've ever come across. A bully with small man syndrome threatening women living alone with eviction. Avoid at all costs.

GoogleI don't want any kind of relationship with them anymore, they're not serious! They made an appointment then canceled it and booked another 2 times and then they changed the day, they are definitely not professionals and are kidding people!!! I never want to hear from these incompetents again.

GoogleOver the last six/seven years my wife and I have used Northwood UK in Sale to look after our property, it was great to start as we used the guarantee rent scheme that they offer, which is great if you require the money each month even if the property is empty I would say the staff in the office are pleasant and work hard for what they do, they are polite and understanding The office is located on a busy main road in Sale which means parking is difficult, there is on street parking nearby but is pay and display I would like to wish them good luck for the future

GoogleI would just like to say what a great experience I had with Northwood Sale recently with the purchase of a property in Timperley. Angela Gibson in particular made the whole process run smoothly. She took care of negotiations with the vendors and was able to find a way through any sticking points (and there were plenty!) Nothing seemed too much trouble. Moving house is stressful so a friendly and understanding estate agent is worth its weight in gold. Thanks again to all at Northwood.

GoogleNorthwood have made the renting process so smooth and their communication has been flawless. Jonas in particular has been fantastic, few little issues and they’ve been dealt with immediately and any communication with the landlord they’ve ensured we have been kept in the loop. Jonas has gone above and beyond for us. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them and would recommend them to any friends/ family.
