I rented through Choices for 4 years and always found them knowledgeable, friendly and professional in all areas. Chantel Taljaard looked after me as a tenant and nothing was too much trouble. Her knowledge of the business gave me a great understanding of the process during the sale of the property I was renting. I couldn't have asked for anyone more patient and understanding. So I'm doing this review to show my gratitude for her kindness she has shown throughout. Thank you

I am dealing with charelle at choices, she is always very helpful and keeps me updated, i am looking to move back in Room 4 6 Bowens Hill Road Coleford and have my fingers crossed 🤞 that i will be allowed because i really enjoyed living in the property up until my parents were taken seriously ill and both passed away within two weeks of each other, i am self serportive and clean and trust worthy, I cannot praise charelle high enough thanks Mr Robert Brewer.

I would avoid these guys at all cost, not sure if all the branches are the same but the Redhill branch however is hand full, Very unprofessional bunch of clowns. Reason being they handed the property to me not properly cleaned and paint spillage over the kitchen floor etc, when it came to the end of my contract which was in December 2022 I asked about my deposit and was told it’s being processed . 2 months went by and I heard nothing back and then called there office and was told the landlords in the middle of making a claim towards my deposit for what ever reason, they listed a bunch of stuff that wasn't true and couldn’t back it up because they didn’t update issues we reported previously on inventory 😂 long story short they made a long list of claims but thankfully there deposit holder are experienced enough to realise what they are doing I got my deposit last week which took about 3 months ! and handed me back almost all of my money back ! AVOID THEM AT ALL COST.

Nicola at Choices absolutely went above and beyond to organise and complete the sale of my flat. Her communication with myself, the solicitors and the other estate agent was great and really appreciated during a very stressful time of selling and buying. Choices have taken such good care of me I really could not have asked more. As a tenant it makes such a difference to work with a letting agent you know you can trust. Amy Francis has been supportive, friendly and professional throughout my tenancy. The property was fully managed by choices and every step of the way I felt like they were there for me as well as my landlord. I would recommend choices and going faward I now have a preference for properties that are managed in this way.

I begrudgingly give one star as I cannot submit review without a star. I am a landlord and have used Choices for letting my flat since 2006. Service from lettings team is an absolute disgrace. They do not read written instructions from me so every single communication is a headache. Four years ago they went behind my back to increase rent without even discussing with me first. They also tried to fool my tenant into paying for a rent guarantee scheme which was absolutely pointless given that she was over the age to be involved in such a scheme. Another time they wrote to me to increase their management fees by 2.5% due to 'enhanced' service. What service??? I use them only for rent collection. Do not trust them and question everything as a tenant or landlord. Better still, don't use them in the first place.
