GoogleProfessional and proactive sales team led by Bernadette. My propoerty was sold within a few days of posting. They kept me up to date on all proceedings and sent summaries of viewings and progress as agreed. I will use them again if I ever wanted to sell or buy in the Reading area.

GoogleI had and still having great experience with my State Agent's Lucky Sherpa Romans Reading (Market Place) from the process and steps for the end of Tenancy Agreement through the month of September and October 2019. I highly recommend any future clients (tenants) to deal with Romans Reading. Caring, friendly and helpful.

GoogleI reiterate my advice that everyone avoid using this company for buying, selling or renting. It is year since I bought a house via this company. I felt that I was treated with disrespect and that the salesman behaved dishonourably. We all have a choice. I would advise looking for another agent.

GoogleWorking with Amy and Nicole at the Romans Reading office has been an extremely effective relationship for me. While the property and landlord situation proved challenging at the start (not their fault at all), I've had excellent support from them getting everything sorted out, and would definitely use them again.

GoogleRent goes up every year with Romans so if you are saving for a house deposit or in job with little progression keep that in mind . Can't get your deposit back or don't agree with the deductions go to the tenancy arbitration service it's free of charge .

GoogleI’ve rented out my 3 bed flat with Romans since 2007 using their fully managed service. My current property manager Kimberley has always provided an excellent service and is very responsive to any issues which crop up leaving me free to focus on my work and family life.

GoogleAvoid Romans at all costs..We rented a property in March. When we moved in we found out the matresses were completely broken/dirty, the carpet was left uncleaned, there was no smoke detector.. We had so many issues over 9 months..I would definitively avoid them!

GoogleMy buyer suffered a catalogue of unfortunate issues which led to a significantly longer wait to complete the sale of my property and in turn a stressful 4 months with the jeopardy of losing the property I needed to buy. Oliver helped enormously with the week to week developments (and disappointments) and never appeared to mind spending unlimited amounts of time on the phone listening to me - and at times my rants! He kept me posted with honest updates and always called or emailed when he said he would. I also sensed he was genuinely sorry for both myself and my buyer as we waited for the banks and solicitors to get their acts together. The other person to mention is the broker at Romans who stepped in to organise a last minute mortgage for my buyer and got it approved within a short period of time. Thank you!

GoogleAfter dealing with Romans as estate agents for more than 2 years im so dissapointed and let down. They totally neglect customers when a dispute happens between tenant and landlord and completly back out from any form of help. If the rent is delayed by one day which in some cases it might happen due to any reason they will not politely remind you what they do is have an unbelivably rude agent call and therten to take legal action and pester unil the money has been paid. Now if something had happened to the flat or property and you rang them up no one would do anything and or take responsibility. So dissapointed. Would not recomment them to anyone
