Sold my house within a week

Can't thank Goodfellows enough, after having my house on the market with Rook Matthew Sayers I was doubting estate agents integrities. However, all was restored thanks to a A Class service from all the team at Goodfellows. They marketed my house a lot more professionally and increased the valuation from Rook Mathews to another £10000 (who advised me that Goodfellows won't sell properties in my location). After the sale I was kept informed at all times from the lovely Lisa and I can't thank Chris and his team enough for a very smooth and stress free move. I also saved almost £1000 on estate fees compared to Rook Mathews, double result!

House purchase and sale soon

We have just bought through Goodfellows. When the natural stresses occurred between purchaser and vendors solicitors, Liza was always there (very responsive) and helped to keep things calm and organised . Did above and beyond the role of the estate agent in purchasing a property. To be honest, I think both party's solicitors could have been more pro-active, Liza remained professional throughout - and probably pulled it all together in the end which wasn't her role - thank you Liza. We are about to sell through Goodfellows too. Chris was very professional in valuing our home - in what for us are difficult circumstances. Without any judgement, he valued our home and gave us straight up honest advice for us to consider . There was no pressure at all. I would certainly recommend Goodfellows for buying and selling. Above expectation!

Although this rating is the result of buying a property through Goodfellows, we also know them well having sold a property with them last year (if you are selling, forget the low fees (actually, you can't forget them!!) the wealth of experience and customer service is second to none!). Back to reviewing as a buyer! The whole experience of purchasing a property that is marketed by Goodfellows was completely stress free, Chris and Liza helped us through the viewings, negotiations and purchase with complete professionalism, but also that friendly touch. From initial viewing to completion they were with us all the way - excellent communication not only from themselves but also for us to the vendors and vice versa! Do not hesitate in using Goodfellows to sell your house and make a point of looking for properties marketed by Goodfellows for your purchase - you will not regret it!

Went above and beyond!

In comparison to other estate agents, Goodfellows are exceptional value. The service we received from Liza and Chris was fantastic. They went above and beyond to help during the sale, and were always quick to respond to emails and calls. Other local agents fees were in excess of double what Goodfellows charge. The key to marketing a property is online exposure, via social media and sites such as Rightmove/Zoopla. An office on the high street is not required in 2016!

swift house purchase

Initially I found Goodfellows approachable and very helpful. Throughout the sale I have been assisted every step of the way, there have been ups and downs as expected, I have received sufficient info and advice from Goodfellows and would certainly consider dealing with them in the future. One situation we did have was clarity on exchange dates where a tenant was still in residence at the purchase property. Notice dates were confused and there was a great deal of concern on our part as to how the sale would progress. But, thanks to Christian keeping us pointed in the right direction and a certain amount of commitment from ourselves, the sale continued and with the help of Goodfellows, we have been given the chance to own our own home. We sold a flat in Newcastle with Goodfellows and they found us several buyers. They were responsive and informative, helpful and clear. A truly faultless service

Moving house is neither enjoyable or straightforward, but it is impossible to see how Goodfellows could have done more to ease the journey. Professional and experienced agent at a fair price

As a property developer I have dealt with a lot of estate agents and have never been impressed with their work until now.
