100% would not recommend due to the experience we received from Lynne during our house purchase. She clearly could do with ALOT of customer service training. She is beyond abrupt lacks empathy in every conversation we have had with her and the end was when she proceeded to yell down the phone at me merely for requesting she contact the sellers who withheld a set of house keys AFTER completion. The only person we were able to get a coherent answer from was Sylvia.

Goodfellows were an incredibly efficient and professional agent to work with. From the initial valuation meeting the communication was great - we were updated about all viewings and emailed feedback the next day which left us feeling confident that the agent was following up with potential buyers and keeping in touch with them. They helped us negotiate the best, fair price for our property and were also very helpful at communicating back and forth between us and the buyers and our solicitors as the sale went through. I would recommend them very highly, they’ve been the best estate agent we’ve used over the years. James the valuer in Ponteland was very good and helped with viewings, and Lynne and Ninder in the office were great at keeping in touch! Thanks very much!

Excellent, excellent and excellent

Selling a home is a game of two halves. Firstly, there is the valuation, marketing and sale. This was primarily conducted by Chris Goodfellow who met all of our expectations with the valuation and the quality of marketing leading to a very quick (within a week) sale. Then comes the more prolonged second stage which is as equally important as the first stage in ensuring a successful completion. We had some complications (which were outside the control of Goodfellows) but I have to say that when I contacted Goodfellows with my concerns they took immediate action to evaluate the situation and ensure all was well. Whilst I am gratefull to all Goodfellows staff who were always pleasant, helpful and professional, but I have to mention Lynne who was so helpful I sometimes felt it was over and above what I could have expected. Thank you Lynne. To conclude, I consider Goodfellows an excellent choice - five star service at a very reasonable price.
