Lynne Pearse was especially deserving of mention as she handled the negotiations with the buyer and the seller sensitively and professionally, she oversaw a smooth property transaction during the Covid pandemic.. GoogleI put 0 if I could. Worst agency I have seen in my life. Absolutely they don't want to solve the problems. I have moved recently to a house in NE6. Neighbour(Ground floor) is creating a lot of problems and we informed this to Agency(Heaton manager Linda and Sylvia) which they don't care and don't want to solve either. Instead of solving the issue, They are very very rude to me and asking me to pay the full amount if I leave. Seriously this is the worst worst agency I have ever seen in UK. Never ever recommend Goodfellows estate agents in Heaton area.
We are disappointed you feel we haven't been helpful. Our staff, who have an excellent reputation for high levels of service, have gone out of our way to assist and advise. However, we cannot tolerate lies or abusive behaviour.

I have no hesitation in recommending Goodfellows. I would love to see the option on your website to be utilised more often as there are some useful parts on there which would be great for updates/progress if it was completed. I will start by saying that this is the best Estate Agent I have ever used and I have moved home many times! This time I was selling my father's property and out of the four Estate Agents I called out I chose Goodfellows. I felt at ease with Chris immediately when he valued the house and cannot fault the service I have received since day one. The staff are very friendly and provide a first class service. Lynne Pearse in particular was very helpful and provided great advice. I did speak to other staff who were very helpful too and they all seem to work well together to provide a fantastic service to their clients at a very reasonable cost. I have no hesitation in recommending Goodfellows and would definitely use them again in the future.

Having failed to sell our property, a friend recommended Goodfellows! They were tremendous! Chris Goodfellow himself was very helpful with his advice on showing buyers around our property. He took super photos. Then whempn we were on the market Lynne Pearse, Office Manager, and her team were brilliant. Nothing too much trouble. They helped us all the way. Can’t speak highly enough about all of them. We wouldn’t be moving into our fab new home without them. Massive thank you to all at Goodfellows.

Chris and the team delivered the sale of my family home They handled the sale in a very efficient and professional manner. Their valuation was accurate and realistic, they were quick at getting the property marketed, viewings booked and following them up. In a climate where so many agents over promise and under deliver they didn't exactly what they said they would, when they would and communicated between several parties in an efficient manner. Their fees were some of the best around and I am currently using them to find me my next property.

We both sold and purchased through Goodfellows and the service was seamless throughout. The team, particularly Liza and Lynne were brilliant at giving updates and moving the process forward. They were always on hand to answer queries and made the process a lot less stressful. We sold our property within 2 weeks which enabled us to secure the purchase of our dream family home in a very sought after area, and a very competitive market. I really believe we may have missed out if it were not for the great service provided by Goodfellows. I’d highly recommend this agent and would use them again - although I’m hoping we won’t be moving for a while now! X

I needed to sell my mother`s Ponteland house after she had moved into a care home (because of declining health). A friend (who had recently been through a similar experience) recommended Goodfellows to me , because of their competitively low fees and highly efficient service. Chris Goodfellow viewed the house with me soon after , telling me directly of his opinions about it , based on his detailed knowledge of the area and the housing market. I was impressed by his professionalism. From then onwards , the stress of selling the house was totally taken away from me. The property soon appeared for sale on the internet , very accurately described. Chris and his team , especially Liza Kennedy , then organised a series of group viewings for interested people , held on different days , over a period of about two weeks , which I did not have to be present at . I was kept regularly informed of the progress of these viewings and the team knew when to bring the overall selling process to a conclusion. I did not meet any of the viewers , nor the eventual buyers , but imagine that they will have received the same friendly and efficient service as I did . The Ponteland main street office was easy for me to phone , or to visit , if I had any queries , with each of the office staff there being polite and helpful. The house sold for the very best price possible in the current housing climate . I am extremely grateful to the Goodfellows team for all of the hard work they have put in to the sale of this house. I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Goodfellows to anyone else needing to sell a house , especially if it is in the Ponteland area.

I originally looked to buy through Goodfellows and was extremely impressed. I felt I would like a company like this representing me when selling mine. 6 months later I had sold and purchased through Goodfellows! What a pair they have between James and Liza - they have reacted to every curve ball and responded quickly to anything thrown at them (and there has been a few). I wish I could employ them! Brilliant company who I will purchase/sell through again in the future (hopefully not for awhile though)!

I have recently worked with Goodfellows as a seller and a buyer and the service on both has been exceptional. On the sell side my property was marketed extremely quickly with top quality images, floor plans and excellent narrative. Viewings were plentiful and Goodfellows were brilliant at quickly co-ordinating feedback and supporting negotiations. On the buy side Goodfellows were equally as good, listening carefully to our requirements and presenting a number of options and then when we found 'the one' they were superb at completing swift negotiations. At all times we received a great personalised service by staff who genuinely cared about achieving the right outcome for me and my family. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Liza (the lady managing the sale) was fantastic, had excellent communication skills and was extremely dedicated to providing updates and ensuring that everyone was on the same page. I'd say that Goodfellows' performance easily surpassed that of my own agent, and I would certainly use them again in the future.

We had lived in the same house for 28 years and had no idea how to manage our house sale and subsequent purchase of a new home. We need not have worried. From the first telephone contact with Liza and home valuation carried out be Chris Goodfellow to the sale of our home we were offered a complete and professional service. We were kept well informed at every stage allowing us to concentrate on the practicalities of packing up and moving home, leaving Goodfellows to manage the rest. I have no hesitation at all! Goodfellows have recently sold two properties for me and I can't fault their service. I have used traditional agents and pure internet agents in the past couple of years and have found the ' hybrid ' approach of Goodfellows has delivered all the positive elements of the other agents and discarded the negatives. Communication throughout the process has been excellent - usually a frustration with other agents but Liza and Chris kept me up to date regularly and nothing was ever too much trouble. Unlike most purely internet based agents, Goodfellows have many years of local property market experience between them plus a name/face to have a discussion with about local market activity etc. They can offer an accompanied viewing service and hand keys to surveyors and buyers (internet agents can't always do this, especially those based in a call centre down south). And of course there are the highly competitive fees! I would definitely recommend.
