We recently sold our house, and the sale fell through on the day of exchange. We had already put down a deposit for a rental property with another agent, and therefore had lost that money. When we sold our house again within a couple of months,, we were advised to wait until after exchange to find another property. That made everything rather urgent, since we had to find somewhere and pass all the referencing process in less than two weeks. And we managed to do it!
Adrian has been helpful and polite throughout the process. He and his colleague Holly managed to get us in to view a property that was not yet on the market, so that we could be ready with a completed process by the time we need to be out of our current home. Adrian was extremely friendly and very prepared, it was our first day of house hunting and were viewing our booked in apartment at the time, Adrian had brought another set of keys for another property in the building that was coming up for rent adn offered to show us around that property as well. This was very thoughtful of Adrian to offer another viewing that we hadn't even booked or knwon about, and ultimately led to us applying to rent the property.

Claire was knowledgeable and helpful on first and subsequent visits to the property we purchased on Clive Road in Canton, where she was always on time for appointments and willing to spend as much time as was required there. After having our offer accepted, there was a seamless handover to Jayne in the Sales Progression team, who remained responsive to queries and did a great job keeping us informed of the position with the vendor and agent, ensuring the purchased completed in line with the agreed timescales.

I recently bought my first flat with the team and they couldn't have been more helpful. Clare showed us around a flat i had booked to view, which was nice, however I wasn't mad about it. Clare had all the information on the flat to hand and we had a good viewing. At the end Clare did mention there was another flat for sale in the next block and would i like to see it, which I did. I instantly thought this is the flat for me. Clare was so helpful with the initial set up of putting an offer in. This is when Jayne took over. She was always in contact throughout the week keeping me informed of what was happening, what I could do to speed things up, and answering any questions I had. The whole process went smoothly and the final day of collecting the keys Clare couldn't have been happier for me in the branch and I felt that. From start to finish the people at Moginie James were very helpful in helping me find a 3 month let in Cardiff. I visited them at their Cardiff Bay office and Becca and Natalie were incredibly helpful and gave some great advice. In fact they even suggested I look at serviced apartments on a very short term basis to save me money, even though that would have probably lost them business.
Rhys from the Pontcanna office then called me a couple of days later to tell me of a property in the city centre which was available for a 3 month let. Since I was commuting from London I was very keen to see the property the same day. Although his schedule didn't allow it, he booked me in for a 15 minute viewing the same day with Becky. This short appointment didn't stop her from sparing us loads of time to show us 3 different options in the building and answering all our questions.
I was next in Cardiff two days later and decided to go ahead with oneach of the flats. Sarah in the Pontcanna office handled my business from this point on and was incredibly helpful the whole way. There were a couple of complications that came up but her approach was always to try and find a solution and get the deal done, which was exactly what was needed, since the move in date was only a couple of days ahead.
Overall, from my initial meeting at the Bay office where I was just having a feeler of my options to getting me moved in to a new flat in a week's time, the staff at Moginie James understood my needs and helped get the job done. I have no qualms about recommending them wholeheartedly to anyone looking at property in the Cardiff area and they will be my first port of call should I need an Estate agent again in the near future.

I had several agents visit me at my apartment to carry out appraisals – as soon as I met Craig, I knew Moginie James were the right agent for me and my property. We discussed a marketing strategy and the best price to market. They quickly arranged photography for the sales particulars which were of the best quality I’ve seen. After a couple of viewings my apartment soon sold. Claire was outstanding – she always called me with constructive feedback, and once an offer was made she guided me through to acceptance and then handed me over to the sales progression team based in their head office. Here I dealt with Jayne who kept me up to speed with the legal updates. Communication was first class – she made things go so smoothly.
