I recently purchased a property with the vendor using ElliotLee as their estate agents. Due to unforeseen circumstances from either side our purchase dragged on for over 7 months, but throughout this time we received a highly professional and satisfactory service. The director of sales, James Burgess always kept us up to date with any new information, was always contactable if we needed anything and delivered when we were finally ready to exchange and complete. I have dealt with a number of various estate agencies over the years, all with varying levels of competency, which I feel puts me in a good position to leave a fair review based on my own experiences . From previous experience many agencies haven't been able back up their claims of the 'A1' service they try and sell you during their valuation, which as a landlord and vendor has left me feeling flat on a few occasions, and as a result, ever so slightly cynical. During the valuation on my property, I met several agents from different agencies - some good and some who urgently need to re-evaluate their chosen career path! Anyway during ElliotLee's valuation I met Lee. Lee came across very well and most importantly spoke honestly - he gave us some good advice on some areas we could improve which would appeal to buyers, which we really appreciated - (instead of just trying to butter us up with some of the fantasy mumbo jumbo we heard from a few others just to get our business - see I told you I was cynical!) Instantly my wife and I felt comfortable with Lee's approach and the level of service he was offering. I was still sceptical though as to whether they could back this up and offer the level of service he was selling us. We went with our gut and instructed ElliotLee and are so glad that we did. I was kept up to date with feedback after viewings and was given sound advice whenever I had a query. Once a buyer was found I started to deal with James up until completion. I have to say James was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He kept me up to date with progress each week and was a reassuring voice on the phone during my stressed moments as exchange loomed! It's not often I leave reviews but I have been so pleasantly surprised with my dealings with ElliotLee I thought it only fair I give credit where credit is due. All in all I am a very happy customer and wouldn't hestitate in using ElliotLee again. Its a big thumbs up from me.

Extremely professional, efficient and regularly kept us up to date

James at Elliott Lee was extremely professional and always strived to answer our queries within a day and would always report back having made the utmost effort whether it be to chase the vendor’s solicitor or the management company. Whenever I popped into the branch he would always spare some time to talk to me and reassure me regarding my queries and questions even when he was very busy. If there was a part of the process I didn’t understand, for example when the solicitor had to get indemnity insurance for work carried out on the property which had no certificates James was able to explain how it worked. I really appreciate him calling the various people in the chain so that the process could be speeded along and also he managed to get hold of people where we were unable to. Henry helped a lot when it came to us viewing the property on several occasions after making the offer. He had a very professional manner and had plenty of time to show us around the property and answer any queries we had. Also we are grateful that he made sure the property was emptied before exchange and I know he followed up and chased when the house still hadn’t been totally emptied a few days before exchange.

Fantastic!

We had just arrived in the UK a few days past and was stressful and in a rush to find a good home for our 2 young children. We then were introduced to Chloe through a friend as she was also helping us to look for a place. Chloe has been fantastic. Unprofessional behavior

James Burgess was polite at the beginning but due to an apparent miscommunication between two agencies (Elliot Lee and Maple Estates) he became very frustrated. He stated that he travelled “very far” to view my property and I explained that I was not informed about a viewing, therefore I could not allow him in. As he left he muttered the following words under his breath “f***ing hell”. I found that to be incredibly unprofessional and rude. I am quite disappointed with Elliot Lee and would not recommend them at all.

I could not have chosen a better Estate Agents than ElliotLee to look after the advertising and selling of my fathers house in Pinner. From the first time James came to see myself and my Father about putting the the house on the market , he came across as having an understanding on my fathers personal needs. James knew how to quietly talk to my father (who is 88 years and can at times be very difficult )he put my father at ease, he spent time and gave professional advise without being pushy. Quick, Hassle free service - Beginning of Tenancy

I've moved houses few time over the past 9 years and service I received from ElliotLee's staff Melanie Jones and Chloe Williams was outstanding and was quick to respond to my queries. Chloe handled everything during viewing and pre-contract and Melanie handle contract side of things. The whole process (i.e. providing references, payments, signing contracts) was available online and I only had to visit their office ones during the whole process and it was only to provide IDs in person. Lets see how it goes and I'll either write here in 6 months or 2 years.

Despite there being many issues through the council, Chloe and her manager Stephen were very informative and efficient in delivering an exceptional service to ensure that myself and my partner were able to move in on the day we had expected to. I would have given the whole experience a five star it wasn’t for the issues around the council criteria’s for this property. I understand that this was not Elliot Lees fault however did cause much stress for myself and my partner as the final signing of the papers were completed minutes before moving into this property, which contributed to our overall experience. Me and my fiance just bought a property with the help of Brad Broch of ElliotLee and I must say that this was a very positive experience for us.
