Extremely professional, efficient and regularly kept us up to date

James at Elliott Lee was extremely professional and always strived to answer our queries within a day and would always report back having made the utmost effort whether it be to chase the vendor’s solicitor or the management company. Whenever I popped into the branch he would always spare some time to talk to me and reassure me regarding my queries and questions even when he was very busy. If there was a part of the process I didn’t understand, for example when the solicitor had to get indemnity insurance for work carried out on the property which had no certificates James was able to explain how it worked. I really appreciate him calling the various people in the chain so that the process could be speeded along and also he managed to get hold of people where we were unable to. Henry helped a lot when it came to us viewing the property on several occasions after making the offer. He had a very professional manner and had plenty of time to show us around the property and answer any queries we had. Also we are grateful that he made sure the property was emptied before exchange and I know he followed up and chased when the house still hadn’t been totally emptied a few days before exchange.

Brad Broch - Very professional, quick and efficient

Me and my fiance just bought a property with the help of Brad Broch of ElliotLee and I must say that this was a very positive experience for us. The entire process happened in a flash due to Brad's persistence and making sure all other parties respond and action all items throughout the conveyancing process immediately and without causing delays. Since this was our first buy we were not experts on the matter, however Brad was found to be very helpful and informative. First class service - Shelley Tristram

Prior to purchasing our property through Elliot Lee, we had already had 2 failed purchases on the day of exchange, both after a 5 month wait over the course of 2 years. (The second purchase was worse as we had made the decision to sell our property to get out of being in a chain, as the housing market was crazy at the time, but unfortunately greedy sellers and unscrupulous estate agents touting for business meant that we lost out a second time.)To say that we were fed up with sellers and the U.K. system was an under statement, and having been burnt twice, we entered this purchase with our eyes wide open, but willing to give Elliot Lee a chance. (The previous 2 estate agents that we dealt with in the area were absolutely shocking to say the least, with one far worse than the other, but sadly it's understandable why estate agents have the terrible reputation that they do.) After having our offer accepted by the vendor, we were handed over to Shelley Tristram, the Case Progressor. After explaining a little of our background experience to her, she went out of her way to assure us that she would do all that she could to ensure that we would be successful the third time around. Shelley was fantastic throughout, ensuring that she kept us up to date of progress. She definitely made the experience a whole lot more pleasant, and it really goes to show when estate agents employ people that actually want to help their customers, as some staff we have spoken to at other agents are just plainly, rude and dismissive. Shelley was an explemplarary Case Progressive, and even rectifying things when there had been mistakes and she kept true to her word in ensuring that she would see us through to completion. And it also greatly helped that the vendor was genuine and did not play any games, unlike others, who when they do so, make an already difficult process worse. Thank you to Shelley and the team at Elliot Lee, other agents could learn a lot from your service.

Poor service, unnecessary Fees of £1000 form buyer

I had an extremely bad experience dealing with this Estate Agent Service. Firstly they charge you a hefty £1000 in the of Move Managment Service(MMS) but there is no service really. I think its just a way to make money from the buyers. They said there will be a dedicated person to deal with my purchase as a part of the MMS but whenever I needed them to arrange subsequent visits, it was very hard to get one. The Agents didn't help me sort out the issue during the completion of sale when the Seller left a lot of rubbish in the loft. I have bought a property form another local agent earlier and I had a much better experience dealing with them. And they didn't charge any fee. I would never deal with this estate agent again unless I am madly in love with the property they are selling.

Excellent service all through!

Given that I am a first time buyer, there is a lot of stuff to digest while buying a property. From the time we located the property in right move and contacted ElliotLee, they made a overall buying process painless. Initially, I was a little apprehensive about taking their move management package but the agent explained the benefits, the reduced risk of being gazumped & how the vendors prefer buyers with move management pack. This made me more comfortable in paying for that package over and above the property price. Price negotiation is always difficult but ElliotLee helped to broker the conversation in a effective manner. They helped to arrange additional viewing in a very short notice with the vendor which helped me to come up with the decision quickly. They recommended a good solicitor and I am very pleased with the service I have received through their recommendation. Their communication channel is very solid and there is always someone available to pick up any questions/issues. In my case, my original agent left the firm but the replacement agent was fully up to speed with all the details and he never asked me any questions which were asked by the previous agent. This shows that they have solid hand over process in place which is helpful. Otherwise, it would have been a frustrating experience to explain the history to every new agent. Kudos to both Stuart (original agent) and Brad (current agent) for making my property buying experience simple. As a first time buyer in UK, I thoroughly recommend ElliotLee .

beware this agents market same properties at two different prices - 3 Brewery Close

I recently went to view a property advertised by Elliot Lee in Wembley. The text messages & right move said £265,000 but on the day of open house the price was £280,000. The price cannot increase in a matter of 3 days. I applied for a mortgage and he valuation of the property came back as £250,000 which was £35,000 less than my offer of £285,000. I was advised by my mortgage valuation team and legal representative that Elliott lee had sold a flat in the same block for £245,700 a few weeks ago.
