Stacey and Leanne were so supportive on the sale of our property. It wasn't always the smoothest with the various hurdles that we needed to get through, but the support of the MP team was hugely appreciated throughout. In particular the extra support provided with the property sale, noting we live 4hrs away, saved us a huge amount of hassle! Thanks again - I just hope that when we come to buying our next house we have a team as good as you to support us through it!

Dealt with Michael Poole Nunthorpe as buyers. They suggested that we use their in-house solicitors XYZ Law, we were told by Michael Poole that it would make the process faster and easier, it didn’t. We moved into our property and a few months later were sent a letter from a solicitors firm telling us to seek legal advice as our acting solicitors ( suggested by Michael Poole) had been served an intervention, meaning they had been shut down for dishonesty. Our post completion work was left incomplete despite us paying in full over £2,000 for our solicitors. We were told that to have the work complete by a different firm the cost would be £480. We made Michael Poole aware of this and how disappointed we were that we trusted their advice based on their wonderful reputation, and as a result have found ourselves under immense stress and facing financial burden. Had we not listened to their advice we wouldn’t be in this position and out of pocket. The response from Michael Poole was abysmal, they told us to avoid the cost we could carry out the work ourselves, despite having paid for this work to be done and the fact that we are not qualified solicitors- again we explained this to Michael Poole and didn’t even receive the decency of a response! We have been left with stress, financial burden and disappointment.

GoogleI fully recommend Michael Poole at Nunthorpe. This was our 3rd sale & purchase in the last 10ish years, and this time we had several unexpected hurdles in the sale process. Having MP’s professional team to handle it all was invaluable. I think the personal help of a local EA is absolutely worth it, and I would never try an online EA. We got quotes for our sale from 3 EAs. We went with MP because they seemed the most professional and most invested in the success of our sale. One of the other EAs was friendly, but when I had enquired about some properties for sale on the phone, the staff had sounded almost disinterested. Another EA’s prices were significantly higher, to the point they seemed greedy. They tried the hard sell on me, but I ignored it, and I am confident that they couldn’t have got a better or quicker outcome than MP. A couple of things worth mentioning that make MP Nunthorpe special. First of all, David Poole, who does the valuations, is so kind, easy to talk to, and clearly an absolute expert in the business. His photos were of excellent quality which is really important for online. Secondly, the staff in branch. We were personally looked after by Victoria, who is an example of some of the very best customer service you could possibly imagine. She really cares about you and your property, she handles all difficult calls with tact and understanding, and I’m sure David knows how much of an asset she is. I actually miss my chats with Victoria! But on some days when Victoria wasn’t in, I did speak to the other Nunthorpe staff, and I can’t fault any of them, they were all very professional and seemed to care about you. If you need a house sale I would fully recommend using Michael Poole Nunthorpe. The only negative experience was there was some IT issue with a couple of viewing confirmation texts not coming through. This is hopefully resolved by now. A 5* estate agent!
