GoogleEddison White (Colliers Wood) recently sold our property for us. It was a longer process than we’d envisaged, there were complications and last minute problems (not with us, or Eddison White), but through it all the people at Eddison White were excellent. Never flustered, always ready with excellent advice, they are also very friendly and likeable people. Altogether excellent to do business with and thoroughly recommended.

GoogleGood properties at suitable price points. I found great difficulty communicating with the agents, as communication between the team seems to be lacking. I was met with dishonesty, rudeness, unprofessionalism and inconsistency. I was dismissed, before any checks or referencing processes were conducted and told the property was off the market when it was available and advertised to others.

HI Nasser, I'm sorry to hear that. I have just listened to the phone call you had with my colleague Rhys today, where I feel he explained everything quiet well. Unfortunately the property you were interested in had an offer come in prior to your offer. It seems as though you were not in the best financial position to move forward regardless and you hadn't even viewed the property yourself yet? It is our landlords that determine who they wish to rent their homes not us. We have a process where although the owner had excepted an offer the property is not officially taken off the market. At this point we do not carry out further viewing , as this would be a waste of everyone's time. As my colleague mentioned in the call, he had been honest with you, certainly wasn't rude nor unprofessional but had apologised if a part time and and fairly new member of our team said anything different. He also offered to help you find another property (but had said your position may be an issue) which you declined. Good luck with your search. Regards Richard Eddison

GoogleADDING FALSE EXTRA CLAIMS IN ORDER TO NOT RETURN DEPOSIT IN FULL. Had an absolute nightmare trying to get my deposit (£1,730.77) back after I moved out of a flat in Colliers Wood. Eddison White informed me I wouldn't be getting it back and that I actually owed the landlord an extra £292.67 then they kept bombarding me asking me when I would make payment. Was forced to raise a dispute through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) because the costs being claimed seemed excesively high in comparason to the quotes I received and I knew I didn't have any rental arrears... ... and here are their findings: Claiming £950 redecoration costs - landlord awarded £300 Claiming £150 gardening costs - landlord awarded £30 Claiming £838.44 in rent arrears - landlord/agent awarded £0 Claiming £85 'other' costs - landlord awarded £5 In the end I got £1,395.77 back (in July... I moved out in Feb!) Most worryingly though, Eddison White were trying to falsely claim £838.44 for "rental arrears" which on inspection covered the date I moved out, 28th Feb (& I paid my rent, in full up to this date) to the day the new tenant moved in, 17th March. The tenancy deposit scheme noted the following: "The landlord is claiming £838.44 for rent arrears at the end of the tenancy for the period 1 March 2022 to 17 March 2022. The tenant disputes the claim saying they had a fixed term contract with an expiry date of the 28 February 2022; while they were initially interested in staying on beyond the term, they never received any contract from the agent and moved out before the end of the tenancy. For the avoidance of doubt, any notice clause in a tenancy agreement cannot override statutory rules. A tenant cannot be required to give notice to terminate a fixed term contract, since by its very nature such a contract expires at the end of the fixed term. It is not necessary to introduce a requirement for notice to terminate a contract which is already stated to be finite. The tenant could if they had wished to do so, and they were entitled to do so, terminate the agreement on the last day of the fixed term without giving any notice. I am satisfied that both parties acknowledged the expiry date of the term was 28 February 2022 and the tenant had paid rent, as they were obliged to do, up until that date. Consequently, I make no award to the landlord in respect of any claim for further rent. "

GoogleWe used Eddison White for the sale of a relative's house in Colliers Wood, and the service was second to none. Having met with four local agents, I chose E.W because James (Sales Manager) just came across as honest, respectful, and he didn't hit me with the hard sell. Having secured a high volume of viewings in a short space of time, Kevin secured an offer well above asking price. He kept regular contact with us and the buyers, and crucially with our solicitors, and this in no small part helped achieve a record offer to completion time of 7 weeks. We couldn't be happier with the service we received, and I cannot recommend Eddison White highly enough. Thank you so much.

TrustpilotIf you are a tenant think twice before renting through Eddisonwhite...
Last year when I make an 50GBP higher offer than the asking price, my landlord asked for 25GBP, claiming something due to our backgorund he needs to add extra 25GBP which is nuts, James liased with him and stop him from doing so. However, since then it wasn't James who liased with us. Things have been changed. We have a cubby hole in our flat and the landlord didn't get rid of the rubbish inside and even asked me to help find a company and clear it. We are about to move out now. We have given timeslots for viewing, with one of the rooms filled with boxes because of packing ,our large amount of belongings and the fact that we can't use the cubby hole. Our landlord told us that agents from Eddison White told him that the flat was in a shocking state because of the boxes and thus affect offer making and asked us to PAY MORE EFFORT in making sure the flat is 'presentable'. He even demanded the same day clearance after the cubby hole being cleared recently because of the viewing. Agents from Eddisonwhite simply passed the message to us without thinking if that's really our responsibilty and if the landlord's request is reasonable, let alone his demanding tone. Every time there is a viewing we tidy the flat, and we managed to clear the cubby hole, but couldn't find any terms in the tenancy agreement requiring us to clear boxes, and make sure the flat is representable (from the agent perspective) for viewing. We asked for the term but received no reply. Also, the asking price of the rent has risen 20% when compared to the asking price last year. This could also be a huge reason for it not being able to let out yet but the blame is on us. We feel not respected, and with Eddison white definitely sided with the landlord and giving us demanding requirements with how our home should be like at the last one or two months of our lease. This is an appalling experience and I think public deserves to know our experience.

Eddisonwhite Ltd is about the worst letting agent you could come across. High turnover of staff, bad communication, no integrity. I will never use them to let my properties again. They completely forgot to let me know my tenants were moving out until the keys were returned to them - lost me two months' rent.
