GoogleWould not recommend this agent! Haven't received our deposit back in 3 weeks and still counting. Horrible communication, you feel like you have to be the one being on top of everything and keep chasing for answers. I'll make sure I avoid them in future...

GoogleOnly looked at a flat. Didn't even buy it. No pressure, the chap was totally open about the condition and background and even asked for our opinion. Friendly guys and would love to use them again Not your standard mann and countrywide wide-boy shark.

We tried our best to keep the sale together but they unfortunately decided to focus their investments search out of London. Hi Niko, I'm sorry you feel that eddisonwhite are to blame for a dispute between you and the landlord for the condition that the property was left in when you vacated. Please understand this is not eddisonwhite fault that the landlord felt you mistreated his property. When the TDS are asked to adjudicate on a dispute, we legally have to hold back the amount being claimed, until the dispute is resolved and the TDS has made their final decision (This can take some time but is out of our hands). As far as I am aware, you had lived in the property for approx 3 years without any real issue so I feel your rating is rather harsh on eddisonwhite and undeserved .

POOR REVIEWS CAN BE MISLEADING. In this case, it certainly is. The reviewer is unhappy the owner has disputed the return of her deposit. Because of this. we get a poor review. In many cases a poor review is written because someone doesn't get an outcome they'd hope for, its not necessarily poor service! My advice to all tenants to avoid disputes at the end of a tenancy. 1. Make sure your rent is paid up to date. 2. Make sure you clean thoroughly and don't just tidy up. 3. Expect damages to property or possessions to be claimed for. 4. Hand the property back in the same condition as you received it. 5. Expect to pay for the full notice period. 6. If there is a dispute, expect the disputed amount to be held back, until resolved. 7. Remember, in many cases it is the agents legal responsibility to hold the deposit until a resolution is agreed. We can not just give it back without correct permission.
