EddisonWhite marketed our property (a flat) well, at the right price, got us our full asking price in tricky market conditions and then helped gently nudge along the lengthy offer to completion process with the buyer, their solicitor, and the housing association freeholder. We were kept informed regularly throughout the process with a straightforward approach from the whole team. We found they were always ahead of the problems that occurred and already had planned any solutions needed. True professionals. I visited a flat and submitted an application to rent it within hours of visiting it. I went in person to their offices, filled out all the forms, gave them all the documents they asked for (ID, bank statement, proof of right to rent), and they told me they would be in touch soon. A week passed and I did not hear back from them, so I decided to call them to follow up on my application. They had absolutely no idea who I was and had no record of my application being submitted at all, they told me an application made on the same day mine was made had been accepted but that it was not mine. They offered their apologies, and said that they should've called me to tell me my application had not been selected by the landlord. But that does nothing for me, it doesn't change the fact that I wasted a week when I could've looked at other properties. Being contacted about the outcome of the application (like they said they would do) was the bare minimum I expected them to do, so I cannot imagine how they perform in other areas of their job. The only way I can describe them after this terrible interaction is as completely unprofessional.

We first became aware of EW when we bought our property in 2019, we then decided to sell recently (late 2022-2023) and EW were the obvious choice for us considering all other estate agents in the area. We dealt mainly with James but all staff were very much on the ball and had a “let’s get this done” attitude, even the top man Richard himself. The valuation EW suggested was spot on in the end. It was tempting to go down an online estate agent route but we are so glad we did not. Having previously sold with a well known online only agency, we were so glad that the staff at EW were on hand to sort out any issues that arose - it’s clear that the staff know the area and know their business. Trust us when we say that if you go down an online route - you’ll be left on your own to sort things out that are way beyond your knowledge or experience. Don’t hesitate to deal with EW: we certainly haven’t regretted it at all.
