Me and my partner just called into your offices on the off chance and the customer care was amazing from the start. The day after we visited the office we viewed a gorgeous flat which we now have. Despina advised us when putting in our offer, which was a huge help as this is the first property me and my partner have took on since university. Fiona was really helpful. I was very stressed and wasn't familiar with London or the local area. she calmed me down, booked me into an appointment to view a property. Within 15 mins of me entering the office I was viewing a property.
I now know what to expect when applying to be a tenant in London. She talked me through the entire process and was very informative. She even went further and offered me advice on what to apply for as a student such as an oyster cards. She even gave me a Stonehouse bag and keyring, and contact information.

I hated having to let my flat and the reputation of estate agents as cynics and sharks did not exactly encourage trust or an expectation of a pleasant experience. However Kurt offered human courtesy (Kurtesy? ), civility, sensitivity and professional efficiency, and made the whole experience as bearable as it could have been. The advice he offered was sensible and good and he was kind and helpful at every stage. I had multiple agents working on the letting. Stonehouse was the most responsive, keeping me informed and updated, and of course it was they who introduced me to my tenants. The lettings process was carried through with masterful efficiency, despite the fact I was out of the country and not contactable for some of the time! I thoroughly recommend Kurt and his team. Stonehouse is now handling the sale of my flat, and I have high hopes!

Stonehouse provides a highly efficient service - communication is clear and they are always available to help. I have dealt with a number of estate agents in the last 3-4 years and have very little to complain about Stonehouse (whereas I have a lot to complain about most other agents).

Kurt was very responsive and helpful when I had a situation with inventory check in that needed to be dealt with, Also, my previous tenant left piles of jumper behind by mistake at the end of the tenancy and Kurt offered to collect them and arranged for the tenant to collect from his office. For a landlord, letting service is not just about finding new tenants, any help from the agent to deal with unexpected situations will greatly enhance the service, and Kurt did a fantastic job. Just to let everybody now the kind of professional Kurt is, here's our story.
It was our first day in London, just after arriving to our accommodation and we decided to take a walk to see the neighborhood. It was around 18:20 in the afternoon and we knocked the door at Stonehouse Estates. Kurt opened the door, told us it was already closed and invited us to go in and tell him what we needed.
Despite being after-hours, Kurt showed us a couple of properties in the computer, took note of our requirements and found the perfect place for us. It was a difficult task, since I didn't have a UK bank account yet and we had our dog with us. I got a fast responde from him everytime I had a question and was paying attention to my international transfer for the deposit, so as soon as it reached the agency's account, we could move in to our new home in UK.
We feel very grateful and are happy with the work and support given by Kurt during this process and we recommend him and the agency for their excellent and caring work.

I've had the pleasure of dealing with Lale Dunam throughout the process, who has helped me not only get my papers in order to move in, but to speed up the process as much as possible to ensure I could move in within that week. Lale has been very supportive with questions and tasks that were needed on the flat and got things moving quickly to fix any issues I flagged.

He put a lot of effort in to helping us to find a new flat, including showing us round a few times and helping us to measure up, and made considerable efforts since on our behalf to liaise with the landlady to ensure that the necessary refurbishments to the flat were carried out in time for us to settle in at short notice. He was always polite, patient and communicative which helped a lot in terms of keeping our stress levels down after some previous bad experiences. On days when John was away, Kurt was also available and helpful.

After our last one, he completely disappeared and never let us know the outcome. We have been put off so much by his rude behaviour that we decided not to even bother to chase him up. Seems to be a bunch of fake reviews on here, with only the 1 star reviews reconciling exactly with my experience. The recurring theme being rudeness. I'm not sure why they have to work in this manner, I guess it shows the company culture/hiring strategy.
Stonehouse if you read this and want to write a response don't bother. Won't be working with you and will discourage anyone I know from also. Quoting 'X' years of experience counts for nothing when your team shows a complete lack of respect for potential clients.
