After struggling to sell our place for a few months with another agency, once we starting working with Elms we were able secure an offer that we were happy with really quickly. We were then in a long chain and Shaun was amazing at keeping us in the loop and helping to push things along to secure completion date.

GoogleExtremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. My brother and I were accepted for a flat through Elms & Partners (Wilmot St E2), passed all checks, signed the tenancy documents, and paid our holding deposit, only to be told the day before move-in that the landlord decided to give the flat “to a friend.” We did everything right, followed their process, and were left with nowhere to go just days before our move-out deadline. While they agreed to refund our money, this kind of last-minute withdrawal is completely unfair and shows a lack of professionalism and care for tenants’ situations. If you’re looking for reliability and honest communication, I would be very cautious about dealing with this agency. Tenants deserve better treatment than being let down at the last minute after signing and paying.
Hello Melina, I am sorry that you have felt the need to write this review, or that you felt we have acted unprofessionally at all. This is a completely rubbish situation, and we are as disappointed as yourself. We have advertised and marketed an apartment, found fantastic tenants, who have done everything right, for the landlord to then decide that he will be moving a friend in!! You are left without a new home, and we are left out of pocket having done considerable work to ready the property for your occupation. Not to split hairs with you, but you were due to move into the property on 01 November 25 and we advised you of the landlords’ actions as soon as we were informed on 21 October 25. Some 12 days prior to your planned occupation. Your holding deposit has already been returned to you. Once again, I would like to apologise for this turn of events and as you have said, you did nothing wrong, and we would be more than happy to continue to assist in trying to find your next home. There are huge legislative changes to private rented sector pending, but I do not recall having seen anything to compensate or protect tenants from these situations. Had you withdrawn last minute, you would have lost your holding deposit monies. The same should perhaps apply in return. If we can be of further assistance, then please do not hesitate to get in touch. Kind regards

She stood out from agents we met on other viewings for being considerate, sensitive and curious. Angelika really took time to understand what was important to us. GoogleElms is by far the best agency we have used to rent from, any time we've had an issue in the past has been dealt with very quickly and Jade would go the extra mile to oversee all issues have been sorted. We feel very lucky as other agencies we have dealt with in the past would send contractors around with absolutely no interest in taking on the work, this is key having a direct line with any agency, top recommended, if you want to rent your flat/house or looking for accommodation, definitely give them a shot.

Always super professional. Most importantly, they look out for both Landlords and Tenants Interests, doing what an Agency should do, ensure the Transaction between both parties is fair and correct. We live far from the flat we were selling and they did a great job looking after everything for us through two failed sales and then the ‘third time lucky’ sale . GoogleNasim and Jade have been really great, constantly ensuring our house is properly maintained and fixed when it needs fixing. Have just moved out to another location and Nasim’s servicing on helping me get the let agreement transferred and deposits returned was great - the agents at my new flat are nowhere close to hitting Nasim’s standards I recommend this agency if moving around E2 area

Husnain was great at taking us through the initial rental process and keeping us informed in a timely manner about any documents that needed signed and move in details etc. This was much appreciated. We havent had anything major required since we moved in, but for any small queries or concerns Jade, our property manager, has been extremely responsive and efficient at dealing with the issues.
