I have been involved with Conran Estates in several different capacities, both as a home buyer (twice!) and as a renter under their lettings management. I can attest to the high quality of their service, and their seemingly unique ability in the sector to seem like actual human beings who care about you (even when they don't directly work for you!). I highly recommend. I would also like to single out Aidan, who works in the Charlton office, for his careful shepherding of us through our buying process. He has been an excellent communicator of the process and has intervened with diplomacy and tact in what could be otherwise stressful moments of the process. The staff at Conran, Abby in particular, did an outstanding job during our process of purchasing a house. In the early stages, they were very accommodating when it came to visit properties several times, including with our builder. Once we had decided on a property, they were very honest about the length of the process (which cannot be said for others involved in the process) and very responsive to our queries. They were very good at organising details around the surveys we had conducted in the house. After a few teething problems at the start, I ended up very satisfied with the service received by Conran. I had a very bumpy journey throughout my sale, losing two buyers along the way and ending up going into rented because my purchase fell through. Abbie managed my sale (after the teething problems at the start with other agents). I found her to be a breath of fresh air at a point when I was feeling very frustrated. She is very professional whilst also having a familiar manner that really put me at ease. She kept in close contact all the way through, even offering to speak to me on her days off which was much appreciated.

We've moved house in Charlton 3 times. In each instance Conran have handled our sale and purchase. If we move again in the future, we will be using them again. They are professional, courteous and know the local area so well. They are never pushy or salesy in their approach. I've always felt they were doing their best for us. Abbie Kendall and Rob Walker in particular have gone above and beyond when marketing our property and helping us find a new home. They've been a massive help in getting our purchase and sale through, managing a long and complicated chain. I would recommend Conran to anyone looking at property in the Charlton area.
