GoogleGreat service, both Jack and Sara were excellent. We swiftly found a great property with their help. The renting process was very professional and went through smoothly. Cannot fault with the service provided. Would recommend Black Katz to friends and colleagues.

GoogleSuper slow in deposit return. Disappointed. First time to get delayed in deposit return. All other agencies I have been used start the deposit return in 1 week after the move out. This one really takes ages….

GoogleFor the last 12 months we have been renting a property managed by Black Katz West Hampstead. We were introduced to the property by Jack who has been a fine source of information about renting in London (we came in from overseas) and has been helpful on a number of occasions since the first stage contact. It has been a pleasure to deal with him. The same also goes for Sara who has managed the office communications, and handling of documentation, very efficiently and pleasantly. Our observations tell us that the West Hampstead office of Black Katz consists of people who are smart, respect each other and work well together, know their industry, know how to relate to renters and landlords, and do what they say they will do. It would be good if all one's professional relationships were as good as this.

GoogleMoving to London we got in contact with a lot of agents to try and find a suitable property to rent. Raj at Black Katz was by far the most helpful. He was attentive to our search and listened to our feedback on properties we saw to try and match us to their most appropriate listing. It was a very pleasant experience dealing with them and we are in a property we love. Additionally the administrative side was taken care of quickly and professionally.

GoogleMyself and 2 others were supposed to move into a property being managed by Black Katz. We paid all of the money (over £5000), showed all of the appriorate documentation, all we had to do was sign the tenancy agreement. The real estate held our money for 3 weeks before informing us, the day before our move in date, that the landlady did not have the appropriate HMO license to let to us. At times they were unprofessional and terrible communicators. Very disappointed and would not recommend this agency.

GoogleI rented a flat through Black Katz in 2017. When I moved in, the flat was infested with fleas. The previous tenant had cats even though this was not allowed in the tenancy agreement, but the landlord knew about it. The flat was messy when I had my viewing and apparently nobody had noticed about the fleas or taken proper care of it. Even though Black Katz sent pest control, it took more than 6 weeks till I could live flea-free. In the first weeks it was impossible to be in the flat, since the infestation was severe and I had flea bites all over. I never received any monetary compensation or any apologies from Black Katz or the landlord they represent. In contrary, after a while they acted like I was making all of this up, telling me that the infestation should be gone by now. In fact, there were still fleas around, which I had proof for, but nobody ever attended the property to check. After a while they stopped responding to my emails. I was told that a flea infestation is a risk that the tenant bears, not the landlord. I don't think this is fair in this case, when the infestation was caused by a previous tenant. I would not rent or buy through Black Katz again.

GoogleWe are moving from Spain to the UK and it is our first time looking for a property in London. It can be very difficult to get to know how everything works and Silvia (the agent from Black Katz) was very helpful in our search. She was really kind, attentive to our needs, very efficient and showed us a wide range of interesting properties. She also explained carefully the singularities of renting a flat in London. Always with a big smile she turned what usually is a tiresome and stressful experience into an enjoyable one. We would really recommend her as an agent.

GoogleAfter a frustrating search over many weeks, Black Katz West Hampstead & Gary in particular restored my faith that some agents are human beings, and some agencies are not just about profit, but about people too. He went out of his way to understand & try to meet my needs, and though there was nothing on the books which worked for me, he didnt try to foist just anything on me. It gave me hope that I would find something eventually. I have now done that, in a different area & a different agency, but next time I'm looking, I'll start at Black Katz.

GoogleWe had an opportunity to deal with Will and Sara (mainly) - everything from the viewing up until signing contract was very smooth. I would definitely recommend Black Katz - I have dealt with them in the past, they are very dynamic and friendly team, they understand needs and market e.g. we were are two friends looking for move in, very realistic and approachable, happy to help us with what we were looking fore. Easy to deal with. I will for sure use them in the future. Very flexible - which is quite important to us especially with a full time jobs. Z.

GoogleJack, after a prolonged and frustrating flat hunt with other agents, provided excellent service and support in helping us secure the perfect flat. Not only did he listen to our requirements, he went out of his way over the weekend to show us an additional property, negotiate with the landlord and answer our queries. Along with Sara's help, this ensured we were in the flat within two weeks. Thanks for helping two damsels in distress!

GoogleJack, our agent was very helpful in showing us the apartments that would fit our criteria and helping us negotiable for a reasonable set of white goods to be provided. I would have loved more help in terms of dealing with the landlord in person and get all our questions answered about the apartment - gas/electricity/water/internet etc. But overall, they have been great and very efficient in getting all the paper work done.

GoogleUnethical agency which discriminates against families. Every time I enquire about a property apparently the landlord doesn’t accept children. Then every time they say they’ll be in touch if something comes up, which of course they never do. Agencies like this are contributing to the housing crisis in London.

GoogleReally good service from Black Katz - Silvia from the West Hampstead branch was really helpful and friendly and explained the process really well. She showed us a great place that we applied for on the spot. Michael and Gemma have been really efficient with paperwork and getting everything arranged. We are really happy with the process so far and would recommend Black Katz to anyone looking for a new home.

GoogleHorrible experience with Black Katz. All the flats on their website are gone and once you call them they try to sell you something that you did not ask for. Black Katz was great few years ago but it is becoming really bad and their service client is awful. Also all their properties are old and dirty. I finally found my flat at Green & Co and happy with them.

GooglePet owners - dont bother at all. I was messaged by an agent “is having a pet a dealbreaker or would you GET RID OF THE DOG?” Please have some TRAINING about this how unprofessional, unethical and just plain TONE DEAF. The audacity. Please be more SENSIBLE. Get rid of the dog?! Seriously???
