The service here is fantastic. Right from Chris the valuer to all the office team arranging the details and viewings and in particular Helen who is a marvel at keeping you up to date and chasing solicitors. TrustpilotThis is the worst agent
This is the worst agent I have ever worked with. Supposedly acting for us, this estate agent, I feel, was dishonest and misleading….protecting a chain to our detriment (not informing us that they had the entire chain) . Ill advising and recommending that we fund unnecessary surveys and ,I suspect , sharing privileged information to prospective buyers. In my opinion they were unprofessional, dishonest, bad communicators and the only agent I have ever known to charge for photographs and their own failures!

GoogleVicki Phelps was our contact at Michael Poole for our purchase. She was very focussed, professional, responsive and knowledgeable. When we hit a couple of obstacles she had the local knowledge to find a way through the issues. Not sure we would have got to completion without her direct involvement. Overall excellent!

Dealt with Michael Poole Nunthorpe as buyers. They suggested that we use their in-house solicitors XYZ Law, we were told by Michael Poole that it would make the process faster and easier, it didn’t. We moved into our property and a few months later were sent a letter from a solicitors firm telling us to seek legal advice as our acting solicitors ( suggested by Michael Poole) had been served an intervention, meaning they had been shut down for dishonesty. Our post completion work was left incomplete despite us paying in full over £2,000 for our solicitors. We were told that to have the work complete by a different firm the cost would be £480. We made Michael Poole aware of this and how disappointed we were that we trusted their advice based on their wonderful reputation, and as a result have found ourselves under immense stress and facing financial burden. Had we not listened to their advice we wouldn’t be in this position and out of pocket. The response from Michael Poole was abysmal, they told us to avoid the cost we could carry out the work ourselves, despite having paid for this work to be done and the fact that we are not qualified solicitors- again we explained this to Michael Poole and didn’t even receive the decency of a response! We have been left with stress, financial burden and disappointment.

Booked an appointment 3 weeks in advance for a valuation and they didn't turn up. They said they'd doubled booked as they were changing over computer systems. This was even though they'd sent us an email that morning reminding us of the appointment.
