GoogleDisappointed with our first experience with this agency. I received a call at 4.50pm on the day of a pre-booked viewing to which I called back and was told everyone was busy on the phone. I left my name and number and presumed it was to confirm my booking. 20 minutes before the viewing i received another call to cancel because they had now booked another viewing. The phone call took an unexpected turn as I was told in an unpleasant manner that 'i have called am and pm to cancel and you have not answered your phone'. I only had one missed call. Unfortunately they had not sent an email and had not taken into consideration that calls are not easily accessible during working hours to those in full time employment whereas emails, texts and even voicemails are a little easier to catch..... Since posting the above review I have had a response advising on the outcome of an investigation. Unfortunately it seems the outcome does not reflect the circumstances on the day. I was advised on the phone that my viewing had to be cancelled because she had booked another viewing. There was no mention of assuming I wasn't going to turn up and again very unprofessional. Had an email been sent I could have easily responded around my working day. I had been at work all day and my phone did not ring until the evening when I answered. I can only assume that she was unsuccessful in connecting with her calls. Thank you for investigating, I am glad that my comments have been taken onboard. I hope it will prevent people being spoken to in a rude manner moving forward although I am just unable to accept the revised account of events I'm afraid. Have a great day
Hi Scarlett I am sorry to read that you were left disappointed , so since reading your review I have investigated the circumstances. Unfortunately it is a very common occurrence for people to not turn up to viewings we arrange with them and therefore, we always call on the day of the appointment for confirmation. My colleague tried to call you three times on the day of the appointment at varying times of the day and as she had not heard back all day, she could only assume you were not attending. I have taken on board your comments and we will e mail future appointments when we find ourselves in this situation.

Daniella is not only first class in her ability to negotiate but she additionally has the knowledge and experience to get a positive outcome in all her dealings. Google0 stars! TERRIBLE SERVICE! Intially, we booked an appointment for 2 viewings and was only shown one because the Agent "forgot the keys" for the other property on top of this he was late. At the viewing, the Agent failed to explain the necessary procedures explicitly and had to prompted to explain terms such as agency fee, referencing etc. When asked what referencing is he simply said it is a background check. After paying the deposit and was given referencing forms to fill in. We were told that the referencing is subject to securing the property so if all of us including the guarantor do not pass it then we will not get the property and on top of that we will lose our deposit. This should have been clearly communicated at the viewing but unfortunately it wasn't. Long story short, the agency had us running up and down to complete our referencing but the company they were linked to was making it very difficult as they kept asking for further and additional information which delayed the whole process. At the end of the day we were told that we can't have the property as the landlord does not want us to move in because we haven't filled in our references even though the majority were completed and the last was 'in progress'. The so-called manager David was extremely rude and has a terrible habit of talking over his clients and raising his voice. He also has an issue with not answearing questions directly as he tends to waffle and beat around the bushes a lot! This is the technique he uses to cause confusion. STUDENTS STAY AWAY. I strongly feel as if this Agency exploited us for our naivety. There came a time when the Agents KNEW we wouldn't get the property but nevertheless they mept us in a rat race in order to steal our deposit as well as leave us homless.
I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the service you received and although I personally had involvement in your experience with our company, I have also fully investigated this again to be sure we have not fallen short. When my colleague initially met you at the property, he did not bring the keys for the second property as we had just received a holding deposit from another prospective tenant. Once we receive a holding deposit, out of fairness to who has placed the deposit, we do not carry out any further viewings. I am sorry if my colleague had not made this clear to you when he met you. At the point you placed your offer on the property, as we do with all offers, we asked several questions so we are in a position we can feel as comfortable as possible that you will pass through the referencing process with no problems. Despite several requests from us requesting all parties to complete the reference forms, after nearly 3 weeks had passed, the landlord was understandably losing patience. Therefore, he set a deadline for you to complete them, failing which the property would be remarketed. Although the references were completed, they unfortunately failed for several reasons, all of which should have been notified to us at the point your offer was made. At this point the landlord decided that he did not wish to proceed with your offer and requested us to remarket the property. Despite the amount of work and time that it had taken to get to this point, we only withheld the cost of referencing and the balance of your deposit was returned to you. There is absolutely no financial gain for us if a situation like this occurs. It is in fact the opposite as the amount of time it consumes is very costly to us. Naturally I am disappointed by your review but I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that we deal with a large amount of student lets and have many happy student tenants. Some of which have taken the time to write positive reviews of their experiences with us.

GoogleThey took my money holding deposit ! It’s showing photos very nice flat but when I been there it was horrible ! I told them I don’t like it give my money back but they didn’t give my money back scam company!!!
False reviews are very frustrating for us. You paid a deposit to secure the property and signed the terms of deposit payment document. This document listed the requirements to pass referencing and you confirmed you met these requirements. It turned out you did not meet the criteria so we were unable to progress the tenancy further. We carry out references on potential tenants so that landlords can feel assured that they are proceeding with a tenant that will look after the property and has the ability to pay the rent. To state in your review that the property related to why your tenancy did not proceed is completely false and misleading. You had repeatedly contacted us to try and get the tenancy to still proceed.
