Our experience with Romans estate agents in Farnborough has been incredible. If it wasn’t for Ashleigh we wouldn’t of been in the position we are now on our way to purchasing our first home. She was well informed, professional and friendly. Before we arrived at the property she had all the relevant information ready to give to us and after our offer had been accepted she has been nothing short of perfect. She responds quickly to emails and phone calls and has helped us with every aspect of our move. We would also like to mention Charlie and Michael whom we have also dealt with. They both have been very helpful with our move and the whole team combined makes it all feel very comfortable for you when you go into the office. Romans Team at Farnborough under the leadership of Richard O'Neill, Regional Lettings Manager has been very supportive since we took first tenancy. Inspite all constraint and property being not managed by Romans, the entire team has put forward their best efforts to sort out various issues. Graham Jennings, Letting Consultant has supported lot during this Tenancy. Later when we decided to move from this property because of various other issues then Richard provided individual attention and special considerations to finalize and rent new property and extended priority attention understanding the family and situation. This was well supported by Charlotte Kelly, Lettings Consultant by arranging priority viewing in new property, explaining ins and out with understanding our need and fulfilment of all major requirements on basis of customer’s understanding so that we should have smooth transition without facing any surprises later. Don't be put off by any concerns you may have heard about Romans from others. They were easy to work with, friendly, helpful and swift to act. My house went on the market and was sold for the full asking price inside 2 weeks and I didn't under price it. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to get their house sold quickly. Being in a chain, there were quite a number of problems along the way, but Romans maintained good contact with everyone and were an excellent go-between. Particular thanks to Matt Penfold and Harry Gray who I spoke with frequently. Great service.

I used Romans as i am moving up North and needed to let my house out. I knew absolutely nothing about what i needed to do and the steps i needed to take. Graham was great. He helped me with the process asking any questions i had. He always got back to me straight away if i left him a message, going over things as and when i needed too. I have recently had the pleasure of renting a property through Romans. They were extremely friendly, helpful, professional and efficient throughout the entire process. They were also very proactive about listening to my requirements and helping me find my perfect home within the time scale required. There were many processes and procedures to follow when renting which can be quite daunting if you are new to it. However, they guided me through the process and answered all my questions promptly which was very reassuring. I would recommend Romans without any reservations to anyone looking for a home to rent.

If you are looking for a mortgage advisor I would highly recommend Brenda Richardson at Romans Farnborough. As I first time buyer Brenda clearly took me through the process of applying for a mortgage and schemes of buying a house. She gave me brilliant advice and helped me every step of the way. I would highly recommend Romans if you are looking for a professional team to help you buy and sell in the Farnborough area. A big no no to this lettings, look for alternative,as my and wife references aren’t met,we payed 6 months rent and on the day of collecting keys, there is no proper handover given and if there is any issue with the property they will simply inform to check with landlord as they aren’t managing the property,if they’re not managing the property why they’re displaying the property details in their website and lastly before making any payment please check whether there is a dedicated parking provided to you if it’s a apartment else they will give lane excuses saying *apply.

What a shame! Romans were actually good when we bought the house through them 13 years ago. This time around, unfortunately, there were difficulties with them struggling to sell the house for six months and they also suggested lowering the price after just two weeks of the house being on the market. When asked what could be done to help sell the house, we were told that all that could be done was being done. Not a great reaponse after so many months of no results. We did end up selling "through" Romans, but this was only when we conducted the viewing ourselves.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

My wife and I recently sold our propety with the help of Romans estate agents in Farnborough. This was made so easy by the team and they made everything so simple by keeping us constantly updated every step of the way. It was our first sale so naturally we did not know what to expect and I think one of the team members noticed this. Jonathon picked up on this and over the course of the next few months he became our new guardian angel. He often worked to timmings that suited us, went out his way to answer any questions we put to him and even took the libity of calling us after he had finished work to ensure we was kept informed the second new information was received. We know for sure that given half the chance we will go straight back to Romans when it comes to moving again. There is a reason they are the most popular (not necessary the cheapest but the price reflects their work) estate agents in Farnborough and Jonathon easily ensures this reputation remains. On a down point, the only issue we did have was that Romans had over valued our propety by £15k, resulting in very few offers of our propety to start with, this took a few months for Romans to notice and cost us with time. Apart from that there was no problems what so ever so if your reading this, thank you Jonathon and thank you Romans.

I recently bought my first house through Romans Farnborough and dealt with the manager Matt Penfold. This was the first house we bought and had very little experience with the house buying process. Matt helped us every step of the way, including assisting with the conveyancing process and keeping us and the seller updated every step of the way. Romans, in particular Matt Penfold are great estate agents to deal with and I will be recommending them to all my friends and family.
