I arranged a viewing with Romans Hampshire late in the day in mid October and Ashleigh was extremely efficient in getting things ready for me, especially considering that I was coming the next day from Bedfordshire. I was about 20 minutes late for our meeting due to traffic on M25 but her team was very understanding. I saw mortgage advisor Robert Wheeler who helped me get a better mortgage and then her colleague Melissa drove me and my friend around to view the selected houses.

We have appreciated very much the effort that Jonathan and his team at Romans have put in the marketing of our house. Their exceptional level of service and dedication of their sales consultants has been second to none. They worked very hard and efficiently to secure us our asking price ( within a very short period of time) and even though we did not close the deal due to some unforeseen family situation, we will definitely go back to them if in the future we decide to put the house back in the market. It is worth mentioning that we bought our house through them in 2010 and the level of service was exceptional and consistent even then. They understand the client requirements from both the buyer and seller side. In both situations, Romans went the extra mile to meet our needs.

Really poor experience from this particular romans branch, my partner has been trying to view a property on Maskell Way farnborough for over two weeks, had to chase multiple times to try and get some form of update, viewing booked for this evening which were not told off until they called us to cancel it this evening, just ridiculous. Advised us they’ve booked us in again, no follow up email received as with other agents, anyone we speak to doesn’t seem to have a clue, reading over reviews people have clearly experienced the same. Just really poor customer service with no follow up, trying to view a property which is their job to sell shouldn’t be such a challenge. Disappointed considering its romans and dealt with other branches who have been great. Put us off using in the future.

A big thank you to Jonathan and his team. Romans Farnborough did an excellent job with the sale of our property and I am glad to have employed their services. They helped us identify a choice of buyers with varying circumstances and we eventually happened to sell our property at the asking price. The conveyancing process was also seamless and we were posted with regular updates and we are glad to have finished the sale in less than 12 weeks. I will definitely employ Romans another time and am happy to recommend them to any one who is in the search of a trust worthy estate agent who is willing to listen, match expectations and find serious buyers.

Romans were brilliant in helping myself and my other half move into our very first place together. Shona Rogers was our main contact from the Farnborough branch and she was beyond helpful and always a delight to talk to. She sorted any issues we had ASAP with a smile on her face. I would highly recommend Romans to anyone buying or selling in the Farnborough area. Having had recent dealings with the Farnborough branch i can happily say that all the staff are really friendly, courteous and hugely professional. Moved into our rental during covid. There was blood all over the walls. Romans didn't care and made us clean it ourselves. Now we are moving out and they are trying to charge us hundreds for replacement lightbulbs, even though the issue is with the landlords wiring. Only care about the landlord. Scum bags
