GoogleWe received a fantastic service from The Personal Agent during the sale of our property in what was a difficult market. We had been with another agent beforehand who were useless meaning it was breath of fresh air switching to these guys. Sue from Sales was fantastic in pushing our property onwards as well communicating frequently with us before and after viewings. She has real passion for selling properties and we felt confident having her on our side. Once under offer, Sarah from sales progression was also brilliant and pushed our sale on as much as possible. All our calls were answered promptly and voicemail returned within an hour or two. No complaints and highly recommended.

Their expertise and professionalism are unmatched, they truly know what they’re doing. Having dealt with other estate agents before, I can confidently say they are by far the best. Have been in contact with Personal Agent for a while during our house hunt and they really understand our needs, only sending us properties in the style that we like. They're never pushy which is just a breath of fresh air and do always seem to just work with the best houses. I'm confident we'll find our first home through these guys but even if we don't I wanted to give them a shout out.

Mr Borrell was very polite, courteous and he, very kindly, answered all our queries. He was smartly attired and 'customer focused' in his manners. We feel grateful to him for all his help.

She also came across courteous and understanding if we needed more viewing time as we drive from quite far and do not live locally. GoogleTerrible experience. Total lack of respect for potential tenants and current tenant. Hustled and rushed into a viewing, given a ridiculous 5 minutes - estate agent managed to quickly gloss past any ‘dodgy bits’. 5 minutes is not anywhere near enough time to look properly and make informed decisions. The complete disregard towards us was very obvious. Just book another hour of your time at least, so that everyone has 10 minutes. Really not that hard. Oh that note the current tenant had obviously been given no warning and the agents just barged their way in before he had even returned home from work. Just embarrassing. After hussling us and giving all the usual estate agent ‘speel’ we then were left for over a week with no correspondance, despite chasing, to then be told the current tenant had decided to stay. Total waste of our time. Their complete lack of respect for our time means we will of course be avoiding them like the plague - if this is they way they treat PROSPECTIVE tenants, goodness knows how they treat current ones when there are problems. The moment we heard the property was agent managed that was enough to put us right off.
Dear Mr Mills, We are sorry to receive your 1-star review. We are the sales side of The Personal Agent business, and you’re your review is concerning our lettings arm which is a separate business. I have spoken to them though and please find their response below. I know you spoke to Bradley on Saturday, and he explained what had happened, but I would like to follow up in writing in response to your feedback. The landlord instructed us to market the property, so we carried out viewings 10 minutes apart. We received offers and put these forward to the Landlord. We were then informed by the Landlord that the property was no longer available and sadly we had to let people down. We would like to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you and for wasting your time. I have tried contacting you a couple of times to apologise personally. Please do get back in contact with us as we would like to help you find another property and have the opportunity to show you the customer service that we pride ourselves on. Kind regards Cheryl

GoogleSadly received the opposite of personal with these guys, they just didn’t contact us. I’d recommend a small agent who hopefully will have more time for you. Had property on market with these guys for 6 weeks. Unless you call them I wouldn’t expect to speak with them.

GoogleI have had the worst experience with these estate agents and I have worked with a few over the years. They have no system, they don’t keep track of their listings/viewings and don’t communicate any information. We enquired about a number of properties with them and they didn’t get back to us on 2 out of 3 of them at all. They failed to turn up to the one viewing they arranged for us and didn’t bother to communicate that the property has since gone under offer. Terribly unprofessional company and I will do my best to avoid them in the future.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
We were extremely disappointed to receive your one star review and apologise if you feel we have failed in our duty of care. All viewings arranged are sent an email and a text message when they are confirmed and neither appear to have been sent to you. Furthermore we have listened to the recorded telephone conversation between yourself and our colleague and she quite clearly states she would need to check with the tenant in the property and would email you once it had been confirmed. We admit there were failings on our part but we called you back within 15minutes twice on the 17th January 2022, both times in an effort to arrange some viewings. Regrettably the properties you enquired about have now been sold and the property market is moving extremely quickly, however we will review the systems and procedures we have in place to ensure this does not happen again. We sincerely apologise once again and hope that we will be able to assist you again in the future.
