The process is smartly structured in steps that are easy to follow and won't cause any confusion. At any point if you get stuck, the application advisor will assist you promptly.Our advisor, Laura Mctaggart, was extremely helpful and guided us throughout our tenancy process.

GoogleMy flatmate and I had a very poor experience with one of the letting agents. He had very poor communication and didn't respond to our emails and when he did he never cc'd my flatmate so it made the process more difficult. Additionally, when we had questions or concerns he responded with short and snippy emails and was demanding of us to reply within the hour or else he would withdraw our application. It was not very professional especially when he took a week to answer our emails. Thankfully we got in touch with someone else from DJ Alexander and they actually spoke to us like humans and treated us with respect. It seems very hit and miss depending on who you get as your letting agent.

GoogleAsif from DJ Alexander was very helpful in renting our new place in Edinburgh. He always responded in a timely manner and had a very efficient way of working. Everyone else we dealt with at the company were helpful too, particularly in helping us complete the referencing checks.

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not give this company your business. If you are a renter, look elsewhere. It is not worth the grief. They will leave you without a lock on your front door for weeks.

GoogleAs a tenant, they are very difficult to deal with. I have found them unsympathetic to tenants needs regarding references even though I have been renting from them for years. Very disappointing. Now I am in an extremely vonarable position. I strongly recommend not using this company.

GoogleAwful experience renting from DJ Alexander. No consistency in communication and complete indifference from staff about the damp and black mould in our flat. Ludicrous attempts to withhold money from our deposit for 'cleaning', despite the significant damage done to the flat AND our own belongings due to the conditions which they made no attempt to fix.

GoogleI think D.J Alexander needs to be banned from all websites, adding the same flats everyday for weeks and weeks but never able to book anything is so flippin annoying and it takes away the space for other flats to show up on the first page.

I haven’t had any experience with this company as they are just always unavailable, be it a call by phone or an attempt to reach by email / application form. It doesn’t give you any trust, so I decided to proceed with other letting agencies despite the fact that these guys have about 1/3 of all of the letting properties at the market under management.

I was assisted through the application process by John Sturgeon and Sandie Whyte. John was friendly and helpful in showing me the property and Sandie was also friendly and clear with instructions through the process.
