Good Service

I have used this branch of Martyn Gerrard for some years and always been very satisfied with their efficiency. Last year I found this to be otherwise but decided to return a year later and give them a second chance. Marc Brahams proved to be a very able, conscientious employee. I found his approach very thorough and he was extremely efficient in finding me new tenants. He was only let down by some fault with electronic form filling but persisted to find a way around the difficulties I was experiencing. He restored my faith in the branch which had been severely damaged previously.

purchase of house in Huntingdon Road, N2

I bought this house through Dario Esposito at MG. It was a probate sale and completion took place in November 2016. There were many hiccups along the way which could easily resulted in the purchase falling by the way side. I learnt how much hard work by the agent can be required for such a sale especially in quiet and more challenging house market conditions. My impression of estate agents had been coloured by the easy money to be made during the boom years. I have had now had to revise my views, and now understanthat in more challenging conditions the underlying qualities of an agent- such as training, market knowledge persistence, social skills, etc- counts for a lot, and will increasingly make the difference between closing a sale and not closing a sale. I nearly gave up on my purchase but because Dario remained confidence we could close the deal I persisted, we were able to work things out; we did indeed eventually close the deal. I spotted Dario working late on several occasions. I think it must have been after 6.30. Neighbouring agents in the High Road had clearly packed up and gone home.

A very helpful, supportive and hard working team.

When buying and selling within East Finchley this year Martyn Gerard were the only choice for us. Having bought through Ercan previously, i knew they were a team i could trust. We worked with both Ercan and his colleague Dario who were both professional, supportive and responsive. We had a good rapport and they worked independently and as a team to help us through the trials and tribulations of both a sale and purchase. As house moves go, the process was as hassle free as we could have hoped for, and this definitely was due to the hard work of Ercan and Dario. Energetic but fell short in listening

I was grateful to the regular communications and overall effort from both Marc and Chris however a criticism was on numerous occasions I felt that I wasn't listened too, I had to ask the questions as I was not given the information I was after, I sometimes felt Marc and Chris were in a rush. I was also frustrated that the flat was taken of the market for several days whilst the reference checking took place. Overall we secured new tenants and as that was the main requirement I am grateful.

Ercan has been a go to agent for me since the start of my property search, which took in total a year. He was brilliant at not only answering my criteria but showing me properties that he thought might be suitable, whilst not necessarily within the range I'd specified. I am pleased that I chose Martyn Gerrard as my estate agent for selling my flat as they were also the agent for the flat I was buying. Having one contact person for my sale and purchase - Ercan Aziz - made everything so much easier. Buying and selling property is so stressful and a good estate agent will help take some of that pressure off you. Flawless service & advice

My partner and I had been looking for our first flat together for a few weeks before we found Martyn Gerrard. I was immediately impressed with their excellent customer service and willingness to help. As we didn't know the area (East Finchley), the staff gave us a great outline on what prices to expect and made us feel very comfortable in their hands. In particular, Ryan Rainford (Lettings Negotiator) went out of his way to help us find a great property.
