We recently used Church Robinson as our agent to sell our house in Didcot. The first appointment was made very quickly and they explained the process and left documents for us to read through. Once the decision was made to go on the market Church Robinson provided us with plenty of information about moving house and what the next stages were. Viewings were set up and the house sold after the second viewing, right at the asking price. Throughout the sale they were in it with the solicitors to ensure the sale went through without any issues. Courtney, Holly and Dawn (plus anyone else I spoke to and have missed off, sorry) were excellent.

I just bought a house with them. Dawn has been great throughout the process, great communication which made the process easier and atress free; following with my both solicitors to speed up the process. Prompt replies everytime i needed something, excellent service. My only recomendation to first time buyers( those ones a bit clueless like me) : We bought a house that someone inherited, and the person that showed as the house, told us the process was going to be very fast, as the house was empty. However, the sellers did not have the probate that allow them to sell the hosue, which delayed the process at least 2 months, if you are looking for a fast process, ask if the sellers have the probate or when they applied to get it.

While Raffaele from the team was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, my overall experience with Church Robinson did not live up to it. I did not appreciate being told my offer was accepted, congratulations and all one day and being told the opposite the next day. I also received two different explanations, after requesting one. Although I can accept my situation and circumstances leading to it were exceptional, I'd argue you should wait until you are 100% sure before conveying an offer has been accepted, even verbally. My disappointment was on a par with the level of investment I was willing to make to purchase my dream home, hence this review...

We sold our flat with Church Robinson in May and having just completed and moved into our new home, we'd like to thank the team for all their help and professionalism. Our flat sold within days and for the sale price it was valued at, which was well above what we paid for it back in 2016. We had a few other estate agents value our property but we were taken with Gary from the start. Towards the end of the process, things got a little twitchy nearing towards completion (at no fault of Church Robinson) but Dawn was fantastic at making contact with all the relevant parties to make sure exchange and completion took place as planned. I would like to give 4 and a half stars but there isn’t the facility to do that. I don’t usually have a very high opinion of Estate Agents, having bought and sold numerous houses previously but I can honestly say that selling my house with Church Robinson, Didcot was a very pleasant surprise. When I met Gary Church, I immediately felt at ease and that he and his staff would ensure that the sale of my house would be as stress free as possible. The staff kept me up to date during the launch and viewings and Dawn was particularly helpful once the sale had been agreed, giving me regular updates about the state of everyone’s position in the chain below. I have to be honest and say there were a few silly niggles when a window was left open after a viewing and the lights on another occasion, as the house was empty and I don’t live near but once they had been pointed out by a neighbour, these things were rectified very swiftly. This is the only reason I couldn’t give a 5 Star rating as I really was pleased with how the sale progressed and how the sale was completed. Thank you to all the staff. I would thoroughly recommend Church Robinson, Didcot.
