GoogleChris Read sold my house earlier this year and did a fantastic job. Not only did he secure asking price, he navigated very difficult circumstances (and a long and drawn out process), extremely diplomatically and empathetically. I’ve bought and sold several properties but Chris is by far the best estate agent I’ve worked with. He’s professional, kind and a pleasure to worth with. I've recently started renting from Foxtons. They are both the letting agent and the managing agent. I have never paid so much for such a bad service. None of the extractor fans work, my heating doesnt work, the curtain rods are bent and now one has fallen off & luckily no one got hurt because they have taken so long to resolve the issues. I'm wondering is this even legal?

I contacted ONE agent for a specific property viewing, and it has turned into a total nightmare. I am being hounded by at least FOUR different colleagues from this branch. The frequency is beyond unprofessional, I just received 2 calls in the span of 5 minutes.

As a landlord (don't hate me!) paying for a managed service, they tried to charge me £90 + vat to fix a meter door with two cable ties. This is typical, and I have to chase them repeatedly for everything. My tenants and I deserve better.

GoogleThe Norbury branch is a 5 stars. We had the pleasure to deal with Jack Pinion and he was very positive in helping us to find potential tenants. He was very friendly, professional and always pleasant, he answered promptly to all our calls, message and emails. He worked hard to let our house very quickly. We definitely use them again in the future. Thank you Foxtons and thank you Jack.

I had an incredibly unfair and unprofessional experience with the Foxtons Deposits Team. We moved out in October 2025, yet it took five months for any clarity regarding our deposit, a delay that felt like a tactical move to strip us of our right to provide counter-evidence.

Our experience with Foxtons has been nothing short of frustrating. From the very beginning, communication was poor. Before moving in, emails went unanswered or delayed, and once we raised urgent issues like a serious mold problem, it was not addressed in a timely manner. We also went without heating for weeks in the winter before finally being given a few space heaters as a stop-gap.

TrustpilotFoxtons found tenants for my property who filmed porn and offer "happy ending" massage services.
I trusted Foxtons to manage my property professionally. They found the tenants, collected commission (2 months rent per year) and management fees, and were contractually obligated to inspect and monitor my home. They failed on every count.
