GoogleAbsolutely disgusted by their behaviour. After loosing my father and asking for a probate value, I was informed it would be a “free valuation” when my mother in a terrible state entered the office and being told “it’s a business quote so it’s £200” by a very officious gentleman and she left in tears. Well I would not recommend this heartless company at all.
Dear Mr Chugg We are so sorry to hear that your experience with our office was not a positive one, the gentleman you met in the office no longer works for the company but we can confirm that we do not charge for probate valuations, unless of course you needed a RICS valuation for anything such as inheritance tax purposes. GoogleAbsolute appalling service, went to view property on rossall promenade offered to put 6 months up front (not that i needed too) then never heard anything back, worse company i have ever dealt with in property, to not even get back to you, how unprofessional, to add more insult i seen property listed on Monday night contacted them 1st thing Tuesday to be told i have to wait for others to show interest before i can view appalling service STAY WELL CLEAR if one person avoids this company my review was worse while NEVER AGAIN!!!!

GoogleEstate agent messed up the viewing TWICE for the same property, both times they just didn't show up as agreed, second time we managed to get someone to come but they weren't able to access the property as they had the wrong keys or the lock was broken. They've ignored every email we've sent them, including an offer on a property. Nice people but abysmal to deal with and impossible to contact as a tenant (funnily enough the lines for landlords and sales are always open..)

GoogleSold my flat in the area. Still being hounded by them a couple of times a year. Either asking if I’m still looking to sell or if I’m still looking to buy. Or as the most recent voicemail goes, “was I still looking to rent it”. I never rented the flat, or intended to. And it was sold, 18 months ago. I have asked several times to be removed from their database, which I was told would happen. But has clearly not. Illegal breach of GDPR right there. I’d already blocked one of their numbers but somehow they’ve got through again. Next time I hear from them I will be reporting them for GDPR misuse. Estate Agents!!!

GoogleMartyn Gerrard Estate Agents satisfactorily managed the flat I let for many years. So when it became necessary for me to sell the property, I asked the Crouch End branch to deal with the matter. I believe I got good advice and they certainly made every effort to get a sale for me. Treon Johnson arranged numerous viewings and eventually found buyers who seem very well suited to the property. The legal aspects of the sale became unusually complicated, but Treon did an exceptional job and helped to keep everything on track, leading eventually to a satisfactory completion. He liaised between the buyers and me and followed up matters with the solicitors, and always managed to be positive and good humoured even when things seemed to be going wrong. Importantly, he telephoned frequently with updates so that no-one was left in doubt for long about what stage the transaction had reached. All in all, my association with Martyn Gerrard over many years has been a very positive one.

GoogleI’d like to express our thanks to John and Tom for all their help in getting our flat let out. They quickly got tradesmen in to do painting, carpet fitting and some electrical and plumbing repairs, ready for a new tenant. The whole process has been very speedy, Tom in particular has always been good at keeping us informed of the progress with the tenancy.
