We were very impressed with the service we were given by Curchods in Cobham when selling our house. Neil, Debbie and Lisa all contributed to making our sale as easy as it could be. The valuation reflected the market accurately, the advice we were given both at the beginning and throughout the process proved to be right. All of the usual difficulties of house buying and selling were met with good humour, honesty and very high levels of customer service. Excellent communication, a commitment to getting things done and perhaps most importantly, a very personal service delivered by genuinely nice people. We have worked with PA Pro for a number of years initially throughout the CV19 lockdowns. The benefits of using PA Pro are that we are no longer reliant on the office having to be manned to cover incoming calls and that we can investigate any potential problems prior to getting back to our clients rather than being caught "on the hop" when answering the phone to incoming calls. This invariably works as when we are calling them back it is more often than not with a solution to their problem.

Had an interaction with Scott Carson and Alkesh Majevadia at the Kingston Branch of Curchods and was disgusted that they are using COVID -19 as a basis to obtain confidential information and screen buyers. They insisted that they were acting in the interest of the Vendors and refused to arrange an appointment to view 29 Avenue Road KT 1 unless I provide details of the deposit amount I would be putting down and mortgage provider. When informed that insisting a person provide such Confidential Information to make an appointment was potentially a breach of the GDPR Regulations they went on to try and justify their actions by saying that it was for safety reasons! People have died from this Pandemic and key workers have put their lives at risk daily to save people regardless of their economic status! COVID 19 is not a screening opportunity for estate agents nor is it a money making opportunity! Nobody would put themselves in a position to ask for an appointment to view a property at these trying times if they were not serious buyers. Further if anyone came to view a property they are in just as much risk as the next person and a first viewing does not translate into an immediate offer! So the reasons that you are seeking this information from buyers is potentially unlawful and a breach of their privacy but more importantly is disgusting and self serving, Next time you turn up for an appointment at the doctors perhaps they should request your financial capability/status to pay for medical assistance before treating you - just to keep doctors safe and to make sure you are not wasting their time given the pressures of COVID 19!
