Tricked out of my deposit. The sale process was prolonged by the estate agent and then they said because we are not able to complete by the end of 56 days, I will lose my deposit.

I sold my property in November 21 £10,000 below market value for a quick sale. I received my money in February 22
Hi John, thanks for your review but it is very unfair. We sold your property in just 8 days, and we advise it takes buyers a further 56 days to complete. The actual delay for your completion was from yourself and we received this message from you on 3rd February "SMS Message: I have a problem with proceeding with the sale transaction tomorrow please respond.kind regards John Goodier"- and this was because your onward purchase had a problem with the property you buying on the land registry preventing you from completing and moving out. Rachel resolved that issue for you and your solicitors as they were unable to resolve it. Rachel called the land registry herself for a property were not even involved with. Rachel saved your sale. So, we not only sold and completed quickly we saves your onward purchase. I think you should reconsider your review as the service you received as exceptional. Thanks David Director

We sell via modern auction, and we get prices around 90% estate agents prices in just 28 days. If you want a higher price, you need to sell with a local agent over a longer timescale.
