GoogleI have found them very professional and helpful. They are easily contactable and return calls promptly. Things did go wrong with my tenants but the staff at Martins & Co, Duke St, Chelmsford recovered and resolved the situation well...but the truth is it was not their fault and perhaps I ought to have given them five not four stars but that's life.

GoogleAs a tenant we had a pipe burst on the Sunday at about 6:00pm when we tried to phone the out of hours line we got put through to a glorified receptionist that said she had sent a email and we didn’t hear anything else from them and the emergency leak number went to voicemail with no call back after we left a message. When we first moved in I found multiple issues with the flat which had been missed by the inventory checker such as water damage and sealants that had failed simple things that as a professional should’ve been spotted. Overall they have helped us to remedy issues when reported but if I owned a flat I wouldn’t trust these to care for it they don’t seem to have the knowledge of general building maintenance to be competent enough as small issues such as sealant replacement go missed until it causes heavy damage and costs a lot of money.

GoogleThanks to the Chelmsford team for a professional and friendly service selling my house. It's good to deal with a small team offering a personalised service, who know the local market. I liked the initial online service allowing me to complete documentation remotely, making the process as simple as possible. Also having a dedicated person who liaises with both buyer and seller's solicitors and provides weekly updates to all parties throughout the process was very helpful.

GoogleWe currently have 4 properties managed with Martin and Co in Chelmsford. They have been fantastic for our individual needs with regards to property management and always been available to take phone calls and field queries whenever needed. Finding a decent local management company can be a struggle sometimes there are a few that are lacking the personal touch. If you are looking for a managing agent in Chelmsford you cant go wrong with this company.
