GoogleTenants avoid at all costs. Having experience with Northwood as a tenant and reading reviews, they may provide a good service with sales but this is definitely not the case for rental properties. Our deposit was not protected within the legal timeframe, they tried to insist we take out tenant liability insurance, provided by Northwood (of course) and even called for a quote on my behalf. Emails regarding maintenance issues went unanswered, landlord was actually an employee of the company and when we went to citizens advice due to the landlord turning up unannounced, threatening servicing notice if we didn’t agree to something, we were informed the landlord was not registered, after 18 months of us being in the property. Northwood clearly don’t carry out appropriate checks when working with landlords.

Throughout the process, win or lose my experience with Northwood each time was professional, honest, and supportive. They are extremely knowledgeable of the market and are genuine in their desire to find everybody their dream home. The Trusted AgentI have rented my property out with Northwood since 2016. The leggings dude have been great, really proactive and supportive, particularly during the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic. I can???t thank your leggings team enough.
Overall, I???m happy with the sales side. However, I have noticed a few ???miscommunications???. For example, being told I???d get an email/call back but they never came.
Due to me having such a positive experience with letting my property, I trusted your suggestions of solicitors. I???m not one to moan but I don???t think Newbold have been very good at all.
Prior to working in education, I was a solicitor, so have a good understanding of the legal sector. However, that being said- I wouldn???t use them again. Poor communication. Zero urgency??? the list could go on.
I???d like to pass my personal gratitude to Kate. She was the reason I chose to initially let my property in 2016 and why I???ve done so ever since before using you guys to sell.

The pictures they were produced were second to none and the level of detail and thought put into the narrative exemplary. Also, not just one medium used to sell the property, very forward thinking practice, we were delighted with the service.
