Darlows is everything you hope to expect from an estate agent. From the beginning an efficient and prompt email to confirm the phone discussion followed up by a viewing where Lucy was incredibly informed and made the experience a delight. Lucy knew about the property, the area and offered excellent advice about the buying process. Although the viewing did not end in a sale we will definitely be using Darlows for future opportunities.

GoogleWe are currently progressing a house purchase through Darlows in Rumney. Our main contact has been Rachel Addis who has been extremely helpful and kind throughout. Rachel has appreciated that as first time buyers we are quite anxious about seeing the purchase through quickly and smoothly, and has gone out of her way to keep us informed of every development. Its much appreciated and as a result, wouldn't hesitate to recommend Darlow's .

GoogleWhere to start? Now there's a thing - I have to say that having just sold a property overseas to return to the UK and deal with Darlows of Rumney - maybe my expectations were too high? I was of the understanding that an Estate Agent were the brokers of a 'deal' between the vendor (Seller) and purchaser (Buyer) - that is how they earn their money. Drilling down further this falls into 2 main functions - communication and customer service - Darlows of Rumney are seriously deficient in both. Not only do they not (or selectively) communicate with the customer - they don't even communicate between themselves - don't bother calling 'out of hours' as it will be days before you receive a call back, if ever (I'm still waiting for a call back from early September) - I went into the office to have a 'rant' at the manager to express my disgust - he'd gone on holiday - I couldn't bring myself to 'have a go' at the two young (and I mean young!!) lads that he'd left holding the fort. Darlows head office - need to consider training for these poor guys in how to provide customer service - and TOP TIP - if you're going to cut and paste from someone else's email - have the nous to read it through before sending!! In summary - if you are about to sell your house/flat - please walk a little further up Newport Road and use one of the other 3 Estate Agents not more than 100 yards away - I apologise to Darlows Corporate - but you really need to audit your outlets - the Rumney office is incompetent and in desperate need of training.

Me and my girlfriend are first time renters and was very hesitant at the start however darlows made the experience extremely easy and effortless. Ollie the estate agent has been a huge help getting answers as quick as possible and super polite towards me and my Girlfriend. Really good work ethic!! If anyone else is a first time renter and is worried about the process then I would highly recommend Darlows.
