Dear Kyle, I am writing to thank you and your team for successfully selling my parents' house. I also thought you might like some feedback on your team. As far as my sisters and I are concerned, Sydney is a huge asset to your company. She was efficient, pro-active, friendly and very professional and we cannot praise her enough. It was such a pleasure to phone and know that she did not have to have the same information repeated to her about the sale and that she immediately was in the conversation in a meaningful way. Your sales assistants (I hope this is the correct title) were also good, especially Tom. He replied when he said he would and he also kept me up to date with the progress of viewings. He also read his screen which told him that we needed to be notified if viewings were taking place in case my parents were there. I will certainly recommend your company to anyone who asks and I wish you success in the future and with your new office in Leigh. Many thanks Linda

Bear estate agents were fantastic in helping me and my family move. From start to finish they were professional, supportive and very quick to update me with any progression. My move was not the easiest due to issues out of their control, however they were consistently chasing and updating me at every opportunity. I really would recommend them as an estate agent, they have the personal touch without the high fees. I would like to especially thank Sydney and Helen for being so amazing at their jobs. Helen - Excellent... stay away from Tolhurst Fisher!

Helen in the sales progression team was excellent (So was Sydney when Helen was not around!)!I would say I'm pretty demanding but she was great, I really felt she was on my side, helping push through my purchase. She has bags of knowledge and sympathy, would definitely use her again! However, don't go anywhere near Dan at Tolhurst Fisher... lazy, inefficient, informative, useless! Helen did great dealing with this though!

I would not hesitate to recommend Bear Estate Agents. Their advice before and during the marketing of our property was extremely helpful. They were always quick with updates and feedback from viewers. Rob Plant and Tom Coxhead were particularly helpful. After a sale had been agreed I was also very impressed with the service from Sydney Mackie. She was very good at chasing up the buyers and their solicitors to provide constant updates. They made the whole process as smooth as possible. 10/10!

False Accusations, Safety Failures, and Financial Guesswork

I initially tried to resolve this privately, but after Bear Lettings doubled down on a 'thorough investigation' that ignored all digital evidence, I feel it is my duty to warn other tenants. This was never about £200; it was about the principle of an agency falsely accusing a tenant of being 'dirty' while they were too lazy to even look at the move-in proof.

They did absolutely nothing

In 12 weeks on the market I have not had a single call from Bear in Leigh on Sea apart from to book one viewing, or seen any evidence they are marketing my property other than putting it online. I called after 6 weeks and was told they would enquire with people looking for similar properties and get some feedback about why they weren't interested in mine. This never happened. I then had a viewing booked in after 11 weeks. They were a no-show and Bear did not contact me to let me know and when I called were not able to explain why this hadn't been done. I know the market is tough but I have had 0% service.

Brilliant from start to finish

We needed a quick sale and contacted 3 different estate agents. I called Bear at the Southend branch and spoke to Ricky Foker and arranged for him to come round and do a valuation. He turned up promptly and exactly when arranged and immediately we felt this was the person we would trust with the sale of our house. He understood our needs and took time to talk with us and we could tell he really appreciated our home and gave us great confidence. I can honesty say the difference between Ricky’s approach and the other 2 agents that attended was like night and day! No comparison. Ricky quickly arranged the photos and particulars and I was able to speak to him about the details and get everything just as we wanted. We had a buyer in just under 6 weeks. Ricky is a fantastic negotiator and really worked hard to get us the sale we wanted. Ricky and his team at the Southend branch were all amazing and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.
