Bear Estate Agents- sale of flat

The great part about using Bear Estate Agents was the service from the “ post offer” follow up team. I was selling a property. I dealt almost exclusively with Helen Wilson who did her very best to keep the deal together ( the chain broke down at one point) and to communicate. I called Helen numerous times and got through to her straight away. She was equally as responsive over email. When you are in the midst of selling/ buying the one thing I think is really important is feeling the estate agent is working for you and doing their best to get the deal over the line in a practical way. Good communication is key! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bear Estate Agents and Helen in particular.

Highly recommend

I had heard nightmare stories about estate agents and the whole moving process, but that wasn't the case with Bear. I sold and bought with them and it all went so smoothly. From the first viewing with Rob (who was new to the job), to having my house valued with Frank and Marcos. Emily and Donna also helped but the best one was my Sales Progessor, Tilly, she was so on the ball. They work as a team and get the job done. I would highly recommend them. My son also used Bear. Placed on the market in Dec and sold in Feb. Brilliant. Thank you guys

I can finally share my honest opinion…

I can finally share my honest opinion about this estate agent. I started the process of trying to get a place and although this company was begging me though I was looking at other places whilst I was in the process and they kept messaging me in the process of me looking and I ended up going with themwhilst I was in the process with them I noticed the most unprofessional behaviours in the whole time of my life and it was very a traumatic experience. These people are not supportive. If you want to work with an estate agent that’s going to be someone that is supporting the process for you. The people that will put you at ease because you really need people that will put you at ease. It’s not a joke. Get a house you’re spending a lot of money lots of money going left right and centre so you need people to give you peace of mind in this life. Whilst I was in the process with them. I noticed the most unprofessional behaviours in the whole time of my life and it was very a traumatic experience these people are not supportive. If you wanna work with an essay agent that’s going to be someone that is supporting the process for you. Please do not choose them from the managing director who owns a company and sure he has enough experience he does say a lot of things that are not even the honest truth you need to really do your research like let your lawyer coach you because they will be the people supporting you. All I’m going to say is that they made my process a living hell they’re not welcoming even on a day. I collect my key. Did I get my champagne? No, . a process that is meant to be so joyous to you because you spent your harder money to get a house in your name is something they turned into a headache to me. I couldn’t even be happy after all they put me through but God is bigger. A whole managing director Screaming, telling me to pull out , when it was getting Long winded, rude I will just never ever forget the experience but I’m very thankful that it’s done but I just need to make people aware for future

Bear's were brilliant in selling our house. Not without its stressful moments when our buyers pulled out just before exchange due to poor health, Bear's put it straight back on the market where it sold the next day. The whole team were fantastic but particularly Helen who worked tirelessly thus keeping the chain together Thanks to Jack for the great photos and to all the team in general. I have just completed on the sale of my family home, to say I am happy with what Bear have done for me is an under statement. I first met Roman, the branch manager. A young man with a wealth of knowledge and great ideas. I had four valuations. Roman gave me more information than the other three valuations I received put together. His photos and brochure he created was impeccable. Tia and Jacob kept me up to date with my viewings and feedback along the sales journey. I was always in the know and secured me a price I was very happy with. Zoe progressed the sale to a satisfactory completion, keeping me up to date during the business end of this transaction. For me personally, this was a difficult time. However, Bear of Hockley were simply sensational and made the move a lot easier for me of which I cannot thank them enough. I have already recommended future clients to them and will continue to do so with zero hesitation. Bears...... Thank you ❤️

Having not moved for years- I can say I really wasn’t looking forward to the process. Bear Estate agents were fabulous, issues with viewings were no problem, George showed people around for me, was punctual and respectful, always trying to keep viewings together, and keeping us informed about timings and feedback, even if there was no feedback- I was told. Their ‘we can do attitude’ was brilliant. Ricky was spot on with our valuation too. I was very impressed by Bears entire operation from start to finish. They were good value for money and delivered on the final sale price based on their initial valuation. As a team they are all worthy of high praise and were there for us every step of the way. From when we needed a quick chat reassuring us to hold our nerve or just a simple check in to update us on progress of the sale. Harry was very helpful when organising the viewings, even before it hit the market and Ben done a great job with the viewings. There were two stand out performers in Tony Kemp who had an impressive knowledge of the local market and was confident in his valuations for what was realistically achievable. He managed to secure us considerably more than a local competitor valued our property for which was a bonus. His photography was awesome and really made our house stand out and he was a real pleasure to do business with. Megan deserves a mention also for her patience and reassuring tenacity when dealing with a chain that seemed quite daunting to us. I recently sold my property in Upminster via Bear and found them to all to be very friendly and helpful particularly Frank who I spoke to frequently. What should have been a simple purchase, with no chain, took six months from offer to completion. Fortunately, for us, we had Sydney from the Sales Progression Team, who, provided us with constant updates, chased up outstanding issues and also managed to deal with a somewhat difficult Seller to ensure our purchase progressed. My house had been on the market with another agent for several months and hadn't sold. After a couple months break I decided to put it back on with Bear. I almost immediately got enough interest to do a bulk viewing and had a buyer within the first week. Right from the start the communication with all of the team was brilliant. Rob was fantastic and very personable, which is tough to find in most estate agents in Essex. Buying and selling a house is complicated and stressful at the best of times; let alone during a pandemic; against all the odds we managed this. Bear were professional but also compassionate/human.
