We sold our mums bungalow via Bear Canvey island..Tony was our first point of contact and dealt with the valuation, advertising and photographs guiding us through the process aswell as attending viewings with potential buyers when needed. Marcus and Hayden set up most of the viewings, both are an asset to Bear they also attended when we needed them too at viewings ,were quick with feed backs and kept us up to date at all times. Once sold, Meghan was an absolute star, we had a couple of issues which she advised us on and it all went smoothly in the end with Helen keeping us up to date on day of completion. Everyone I dealt with at Bear were so friendly , knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with, they made a very difficult time a little easier .. I would have no hesitation in recommending them ..thank you to you all at Bear

Every team member at Bear has been terrific but our case handler Megan was truly spectacular. She went beyond the call of duty on numerous occasions and we feel she was the only reason we managed to complete on both our purchase and our sale. Her efforts were unmatched and she did the work for our other estate agency, making calls every day to get us across the line and chasing when needed. If we move again, we know who we will call on!

Bear (Southend) are brilliant!

Bear (Southend) have a fantastic proactive team, and although you don’t get to deal with one person I’ve realised this is to your advantage. Each team member is highly experienced in their area of sales. From Rebecca who is always available to organise viewings and keeps you updated and can answer a host of queries, to Tilly in the progression team that works continuously to keep the chain going and communicates frequently and even Tom, the Branch manager, will provide support if needed. No wonder across the towns you’ll see Sold Bear signs!

Absolutely fantastic and first class service from start to finish. Joe came round to see the property and take photos in the morning and our property was live on the market by 6pm that day. We had an unbelievable amount of viewings over the next 4 days and we accepted an offer on day 5. I purchased a house through Bear and I cant thank them enough. Even though I didn't sell via them the team took great care of me. Megan especially deserves a big mention and a huge thank you. When things weren't going well, she helped me to navigate the process and kept me in the loop at all times - I could not have got through the whole process without her. The rest of the team were just as great and I also cant thank Scott, Roman and Harry enough. When it looked like we had to remarket the house, Scott came out straight away and got everything sorted and Roman kept me up to date on viewings. I would definitely recommend Bear as an estate agent, not just to sell a house through, but buying as well. I wish I had used them instead of my estate agent, who were useless and had non-existent after sales care! Five stars aren't enough for the team at Bear. They are superstars!

I had a very positive experience buying and selling properties through Bear. Jack came to value my property, he was professional and friendly. I felt he valued it at the correct price. I never felt pushed into going with them, which other estate agents did. Jack made me feel confident that my property would sell easily and already had potential buyers in mind. I believe I had approximately twenty four viewings and around five offers, which led to a little bidding war! At this point in the process you deal with the negotiation team, who are all really friendly and helpful. Frank was my main point of contact throughout and is an absolute legend! Not only did he help me secure the sale of my new property but when things went a little pear shaped (with mortgage companies) he was supportive, offered advice and most of all, kept me sane! I purchased a property which was sold through Bear and I was very impressed with the service provided. The team had a challenging situation to resolve and did so excellently and with great communication and persistence - especially Megan who worked tirelessly to push things through. However giving 4* instead of 5* as I completed over 6 weeks ago and Bear still haven’t returned my purchase commitment fee, despite multiple calls and emails requesting this be returned to me.
