GoogleWould give zero stars if I could. Awful place to rent from. Property management are the ABSOLUTE WORST. They only care about the landlords and when their next commission is coming in. Rude and totally unhelpful. Avoid.

At the start and end of tenancies, we use independent inventory companies to ensure impartiality and avoid any perceived conflict of interest. We have a duty of care to ALL parties and it is regrettable when a dispute cannot be resolved without adjudication. However, there is a process in place for that very reason. Our aim is to always offer a professional service and we would invite you to arrange a meeting at our office, with our Senior Property Manager and our Lettings Manager, to discuss your concerns and hopefully restore your faith in the system and our services. GoogleBe careful with your deposit. This company is very sneaky and will take at least half of it for 'cleaning' and minor damage which should come under wear and tear if you're an occupant of the house/flat for a certain period of time. They WILL NOT take this into account which is illegal. They will also avoid or defer discussions on the matter to other companies like DPS which makes it harder to claim your deposit back. They will also ignore black mould in a bathroom, even when asked to do something about it, and were slow to reply (weeks) on anything financial. Untrustworthy, unscrupulous and thieving.
We are sorry to hear that you had a different impression of our services; We work very hard to maintain professional industry standards which is why we insist on using third party independent inventory companies for managed tenancy inventories and check outs; we use The Deposit Protection Service custodial scheme (The DPS) to lodge tenants deposits (we do not hold them ourselves). The DPS operate a fair adjudication dispute resolution service which is transparent, impartial and means that landlords, tenants and agents are bound by their rules and decisions, with very best wishes from all at Martin & Co

GoogleMost helpful company, started using Martin and Co as our letting agent, for a 3 bedroom house.... Tamara initially came around to the property to consult and advise us on what to do prior to renting the property out. As neither of us live locally to the property it's been handy to have Martin and Co communicate with us if any issues arise, let us know if there's been any tennant requests too. Any work that has been done through their many contacts has been done at a reasonable price and in a quick time too. We're more than happy with the service that we've received going into our 3rd year of leasing to the same family. The fees charged are very reasonable too. Thank you all who have had dealings with us, it's been much appreciated... especially; Liz, Sarita, Tamara and more...

GoogleI had a great experience buying my property in BSE with excellent support from Charlotte and Justine. They were always quick to answer my queries, and when the conveyancing process started to stall they would chase up queries between parties and get things moving again. It was a relief to know they were on hand and able to get things done, and I appreciated their support.
