Some of the property management agents at Martin & Co are polite and respectful. They respond quickly and answer questions promptly. I would like to give my thanks to Emily. I had a difficult experience when I was locked into my apartment on a particularly hot day, called the emergency line and then had to call a locksmith. No one answered the emergency line after sending a text and leaving voicemails. They didn’t even believe the lock had an issue until their locksmith came. I was left with a bill of £180 and was promised my the agent that I would be refunded. This never happened. Worst experience ever.

We’ve recently rented our new home through Martin & Co Bury St Edmunds. Casey was friendly when he showed us around the property and was particularly helpful in pointing out how straightforward it should be to get full fibre broadband installed, which was really useful to know. Since then, I’ve been particularly impressed with the support from the wider team. Emily was incredibly helpful in getting a quick answer from our landlord when we needed permission for the broadband installation, and Liz and Isobel have both been really responsive with the move-in admin, inventory and the few queries we’ve had since moving in. Communication has been friendly, prompt and helpful throughout, and it has made settling into our new home that bit easier. Thank you to everyone involved.

I have now used Martin & Co both as a tenant and as a seller, and on both occasions the service has been outstanding. When I rented through Martin & Co in 2022, I was approaching the private rental market in difficult personal circumstances and found the team incredibly understanding and helpful. The property itself was older and had a number of issues during the tenancy, but every problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently, without me ever having to chase. More recently, Martin & Co have managed the sale of my house, which has been a long, stressful and at times complicated process. Once again, the service has been exceptional. Communication has been excellent throughout, I have always been kept informed, and the team have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep things moving. In particular, Justine has been outstanding. She combines professionalism, persistence and efficiency with genuine warmth and kindness. She has spent countless hours chasing solicitors, buyers and others in the chain, keeping me updated and helping to resolve issues. At times it felt as though she was providing equal parts estate agency and therapy, and I mean that as a genuine compliment. It is rare to encounter a business that delivers such consistently excellent service across different circumstances and over a number of years. I would wholeheartedly recommend Martin & Co.

We’ve completed the purchase of our new home through Martin & Co, and I genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough, especially Charlotte Hopwood, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, Charlotte was friendly, professional, approachable and incredibly responsive. Buying a house can be stressful at the best of times, and our purchase had its fair share of complications, changing timelines and plenty of communication between solicitors, ourselves and the seller. He was professional, courteous, and showed me several great places until I found the right one. On move-in day, I had a delay with an international wire transfer, but Matt went above and beyond, he contacted the landlord directly and got everything sorted so I could still move in that same day.
