Despite our sale and purchase taking place throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and then one of the properties entering probate just as moving had been given the green light again, the Benfleet team went above and beyond to keep us informed of all developments throughout the 4 months it took to complete. Even though the team were facing an uncertain time themselves, they made sure to give my partner and I the reassurance and guidance to persevere with the purchase of our family home. One of the partners, Ian Williams, even donned his pants over his trousers and assumed the Superhero role to sort an issue raised by an over zealous solicitor on our moving day that could of pulled the rug out from under the entire chain! We Sold our house with Benfleet branch, and ended up buying from them too! The guys were really good, from Lloyd seeing us originally and getting the house on the market, to Lynn being on it chasing up the chain (in particular one of the Solicitors). The house sold very quickly, and the fact they were sensible with the valuation certainly helped. Some EAs we had round were promising to get silly money for the house, desperate to get the sale (and in some cases the corresponding high cut they wanted) - but I didn't see the point if we ended up putting down the price again and again till it sold, something that's fairly obvious when you look at Rightmove. The main thing that I liked though - Was the office knew us and we could just pick up the phone and call them for any problems. Cheers guys, Dave and Kerry

Everyone that we have dealt with here has been absolutely brilliant compared to ‘some’ other agents in the area, always coming back to us immediately and keeping us updated. Throughout our search for a property we have arranged various viewings with Williams and Donovan and they have always been extremely accommodating, friendly and professional. We have dealt with other agents in the area who quite frankly are a joke, not coming back to us when offers have been made/ not even putting offers forward to the vendor etc. However, James at Williams and Donovan has been an absolute diamond, as indeed has Lynn and Mark. Nothing is ever a problem and you never feel like you are being rushed or being an inconvenience. Thank you very much guys.
