We’ve been on a very long journey with Andrews which started in March 2020 and we finally have a solid offer on our house. Trying to move first during Covid and then in the latest economic turmoil has been really challenging. During all that time the team at Andrews have been brilliant to deal with. The service is personal, friendly, knowledgeable and sensible. In the end we sold our house for less than we had originally hoped for but given the current market we are confident that Andrews helped us to make a sound decision. We want to thank all the lovely staff at the Bear Flat branch. Especially Hamza who did most of our many viewings. He was personable, positive and enthusiastic and we felt really confident in his ability to show our home in its best light.

Andrews have been a fantastic estate agents! We have moved four times, and used them every time because they have been so great. We have been so impressed with how helpful, friendly and professional all of the staff members have always been. Their expertise and skill is always obvious too. Hamza from the Bear Flat branch has been particularly outstanding for the move we have just completed. A solicitor and estate agent from higher up our chain have been very weak, and Hamza has worked incredibly hard to fill the gap left by them. He has always kept us informed and seemed to genuinely care about our family and our house moving experience. He really has gone above and beyond for us, and we are incredibly grateful - this move probably would never have happened if it hadn't been for him!

Dreadful service, awfully slow, negligent, understaffed and overpriced No one ever picks up when you call, or responds to your voicemails. They take weeks to respond to emails, and MONTHS for simple problems to be solved, after dozens of emails, phone calls and broken promises. Excuses constantly given such as lack of staff, but they seem to make no effort to fix this their end. So why should we have to pay the normal rate for an understaffed service? We've been through 3 property managers, none of whom ever have the time to deal with our problems. There is a total lack of communication between the staff and logged, recorded issues get lost time and time again. But when there is a mix up with the landlord's paying for an extra set of keys, then they are instantly hassling you via threatening emails (sent out of working hours) demanding money that you don't owe! I would like to say; Huge thank you to James. As a foreigner renting a house/flat has been really difficult until i have viewed a place with James (Andrews - Bear Flat). He was really professional, polite and quick for arrangements so i could get my house for my family. Even James was off one day and normally some people would say; i am off tomorrow please get in touch with me next day but James does not work like that, he passed me other team members details and anything needed get in touch with the team. This is an other big point. They care about their customers. The main thing is whatever you shop, buy or rent. The people you are dealing needs to have smile in their face. Trying to find a house has been an absolute roller-coaster of a ride, my flat mate and I started looking in January ready to move at the end of March, we had no luck finding anywhere that was available at that time or willing to take sharers. By chance we had a viewing for a property that James took for us, a very kind and caring man which in our personal experience, is a rare thing when looking for properties. He supported us through the application but unfortunately we weren't successful. James went above and beyond to help us find a lovely house right at the last minute. I think without his effort and help we may well have ended up homeless.

My experience buying a house through Andrews was ultimately a very good one. This was due to the hard work of Kate Cullen. despite a fair amount of turbulence through the process, with a fair number of issues popping up/going wrong along the way (generally to do with the seller/tenants, so no fault of Andrews) Kate was always ready to sort everything out with minimal input from me.
