GoogleThe service is mostly excellent and warrants 4 to 5 stars but recently I had a zero star experience that has tarnished their record. The staff member responsible has since left, however (fired?) and the usual service has resumed so hopefully that was just bad luck with recruitment.

GoogleA really poor company, hardly ever return communications, use bad subcontractors and will pass the buck to you to deal with rather than do what they are paid to do so you will end up doing most of the chasing yourself. Would never recommend or use again.

GoogleWe have been renting though Romans for nearly three years, with the wonderful Fran Jones as our property manager. Unfortunately we had to move last week due to extensive reparations. We would like to express enormous gratitude to not only Fran, but also Philippa Randle and Neil Sullivan, who made sure we are well settled in our new accommodation. It isn't often that such a level of care is prevalent in this industry where you have to keep both landlords and tenants happy. Strong communication, feedback and transparency are just a few qualities that make these property managers such an asset to Romans!

GoogleI met with Michael to view a property and found him particularly helpful and thoughtful, especially as I have mobility issues. Without any prompting he offered assistance an took care of my welfare during the viewing. His understanding of my issues was greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

GoogleOne of the worst agent not just in basingstoke but also in uk I would say. All they want is your money. Calls goto headquarters who take your details and then there is no followup or callback. Better go with connells or belvoir.

GoogleThree time my sister phone them up. Never got back to us. We wanted to see 2 appartments in Basingstoke. Now, she had gone back to Italy and I'm in kent again. Rubbish !

GoogleThe old saying you get what you pay for, this company emulates it, there is a lot of choice in basingstoke and we did not choose the cheapest , BUT we got the BEST , from the service they provided to the first client who rented our home , if you are looking to sell or rent your property you will not do better than ROMANS. All the staff communicate with each other so that everyone knows who you are when you call or visit the office ,thank you all at ROMANS Basingstoke.

GoogleKnowingly put a property on the market that was not in a saleable position has cost me months of delay and thousands of pounds. Then proceeded to be disinterested, unavailable and confusing.

GoogleI can’t call it a service. It was a rushed and unorganised, pressured process with overcharges and you’re still holding on to the money you overcharged me 11 days later and 7 working days after I submitted the form.

GoogleIm a very satisfied landlord, with a fully managed property through Romans Basingstoke. The team have been very patient with me. Explaining documents and processes in a more basic level as I was clueless as to what to do at the beginning.I would recommend using Romans as there communication and management is priceless as I really dont have to worry about my flat. Thank you for all your help!
