All of the staff have been exceptional from the initial valuation with Ken who was extremely efficient and believed in our property and achieving a great price for us. Quite simply Country Properties was outstanding in the sale of my house. Helen came round, we agreed a price of sale. The team came round soon after to look at the property so they all had an understanding what they were selling. With in a few hours of the house going on the market, Country Properties was all ready making appointments for them to come round with potential buyers to view. With in a week our home was sold. Once sold Sonia would ring us up with an update of everything that was going on. I am sure if Sonia was not on the case our contracts would have not exchanged and chain would have been broken. If you are thinking of selling your house employ the best, Give them a ring you will not be disappointed. June 2017

A huge thank you to the team at Country Properties Baldock for making the sale of my flat such a painless & positive experience and for showing great warmth & accessibility as a team despite being thrown the inevitable curve ball or two (by myself if I recall!). I dealt with a number of members of the team - Denise, Helen, Kerry-Marie and Sonia - and without exception they went above & beyond the formal expectations I had. They were extremely pro-active in approach and are obviously a very close-knit team. I received a full asking price offer within days of the flat first being marketed which was in very large part due to the preparation & communication of the team. I cannot thank you all enough and would wholeheartedly recommend that any prospective buyer or seller in the area makes contact!

I sold my flat through Sonia and her team, and although there were some complications regarding the Leasehold, Sonia's and her team's knowledge was invaluable (far more so than my solicitor), and their input ensured that the issue was resolved in a timely and cost effective manor. From the first consultation, to arranging viewings, to handling the progress of the sale through to completion, I can't fault the service provided by the various members of the team that were involved. I shalt be moving for many years, but when I do I shall certainly be using Country Properties again.

Wow what an amazing company and other estate agents could certainly learn a thing or two from Country properties. Moving house is so stressful especially when you buyer pulls out on the day of exchange. I have to take my hat off to the whole team at the Baldock office as they all worked hard and way past the normal working hours and we are now living in our dream home. They are very knowledgeable and professional and took the stress out of the moving process. I do not normally do reviews but felt they had gone beyond the norm and cannot recommend they enough.

From the very first time I called into Country Properties Baldock, I was treated with courtesy and professionalism. They listened to my requirements and showed me a number of properties which unfortunately were not quite suitable but they introduced me to a slightly larger property which better suited my requirements and therefore I made an offer which was accepted. After the purchase all the staff keep me fully informed of all developments even on the property which I had sold privately, at least once a week. It was a great pleasure to deal with all members of staff.

Despite the fact that we put our house on the market at a relatively quiet time, Country Properties listed it at the price we wanted and then pulled out all the stops to get people through the door. There was a constant stream of viewers and within two weeks we had sold. We also bought our next property through them and they were extremely helpful with securing that for us. When we approached the exchange of contracts and all parties wanted different things, Sonia and Kerry were great at making sure everything progressed in the right direction and that everyone remained happy. We also used their solicitors who were fantastic throughout the whole process, giving us regular updates without us even asking for them and dealing with issues super fast. I would most definitely highly recommend Country Properties and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Country Properties, Baldock Office is simply the best estate agents that I have ever used, having bought & sold several properties, or been involved in such transactions in a business capacity during my working lifetime of over 40 years. All of the staff at their offices are delightful, professional, very experienced, extremely patient and courteous - and that's saying something from an ex-Bank Manager! On this occasion, we bought a house in Baldock through this Country Properties office and were fortunate to deal with virtually the entire staff, mainly: Sonia Jakes (Branch Director), Denise Weller & Michelle Woods (Sales Negotiators) and Helen Celik (Branch Manager) - but all are really lovely. Yes we had some problems to solve and queries for several months, buying a house is never straight forward, so the expertise of these people made the process so much less painstaking. Thank you again to 'the team' and for their wonderful service. Go and give them a try, for customer service and satisfaction they must be simply the best!

Whether you're selling or buying, CHOOSE BALDOCK COUNTRY PROPERTIES. The service from Sonia and her team at Baldock Country Properties is second to none: I had to delay my sale and related purchase due to ill health the team were able to manage the chain so that we all completed after I was out of hospital. This meant an unending amount of extra phone calls that Sonia and the team had to make yet it was all done with supreme efficiency and kindness to me. I have never come across such a tightly run estate agency and with such great people to deal with. Moving home is one of the most stressful things but Sonia, Kerrie, Helen, Denise and Michelle were amazing and when they say they are going to do something, they jolly well do. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Professional, personal service and expertise

I sold my house through Country Properties in the summer of 2016. Helen and her team ensured the selling process was stress and hassle free. I simply handed over a set of keys and within a week my house was sold. I happenened to be home when a viewing was taking place and was very impressed by the knowledge and level of expertise shown by the agent who had clearly taken the time to understand the house and what it had to offer. She even highlighted features I had not considered in my 4 years there! My purchase through another agent was rather protracted, but throughout Sonia co-ordinated and cascaded information between all the parties in the chain on a regular basis to ensure there was a good level of communication. She pre emptied any challenges before they could become issues and kept everyone positive despite the many frustrations. I wouldn't use anyone else if I was looking for an agent and would highly recommend. Thank you Country Properties!

They have a lot of Baldock properties on their books and undoutedly get a lot of people knocking on their door to view them. I registered with them in 2012 when house hunting - got property details given to me (I had dropped into the office). Viewed a couple although no good. All an OK service. But then heard nothing from them until....wait for it...a year later....they had something on the market would I be interested? A year without anything from them (despite stuff coming on the market that matched my criteria). Clearly they had a tricky one to sell and were actually being proactive! If you want an estate agent that will proactively market you property I would question whether these were any use at all.
