As a first time buyer, I wasn't quite aware of the intricacies of home-buying in the UK. Both Lynsey A and Irene L from the Hamilton branch of Your Move were wonderful right from the start. From viewing the property right until we moved in, Lynsey went the extra mile consistently, oftentimes having to coordinate between the solicitors too. I couldn't have asked for more. The thing that I liked the most was the lightning fast response to all of my questions/emails. Kudos to both of them. I will recommend them to anyone currently looking for a property in the Hamilton area and hope to get in touch with them in the future myself.

Was given a time for a viewing and when I arrived no one was there. Stood outside for 15 minutes and knocked several times before leaving. Emailed after stating what had happened and they claimed they were in the flat and I didn’t come - I stood outside the large living room window waiting patiently in clear view for an while incase they were busy. I was then informed the landlord had chosen someone else and they gave me a link to a different property to view. Very disappointing service and would have really appreciated just being told the flat had already been taken and that the viewing wasn’t needed. Not ideal as it wasted a large chunk of my day arranging transport to and from this viewing that didn’t happen.

I dealt with Stirling offices (Georgia and Morvan). First enquiry re property was around January 2023 whilst still living in South Africa. We asked if they could send on details of homes as and when available. On arrival in March 2023 we contacted Georgia to advise we had arrived and if we could start viewing properties. Sent an email and left a voicemail with the goal to purchase a property through Your Move Estate agents in Falkirk for cash. Received a call back the next morning from a lady who at first did not want to identify herself, after repeatedly asking her name she at first responded with "I am from Your Move Estate Agents" then on the 3rd or 4th time reluctantly told me her name was Jodi. Was completely condescending from the first sentence. Was very uncomfortable call where she demanded answers to quite sensitive questions and seemed to somehow combine a haughty/posh and really uneducated manner all at the same time. I knew the building for sale quite well as I live a few doors down from it and had instructed my solicitor to make an offer. Jodi insisted that was "Not how it was done" and that I must view it first and refused to listen to my plea to just make an offer while still demanding answers to sensitive questions. She then accused me of having a "tone" with her, which to be fair at that point in the conversation was probably true. Had had enough of her nonsense and told her did not want to do business with her and instead of passing me to someone else the phone was disconnected. Didn't even bother to ask the amount of my offer which would have been £10 000 over asking.
