I found all members of Staff at this branch of Your Move to be helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly. David Fotheringham, their Letting Manager, was exceptional. David found the ideal property for us to rent. He made himself available for us and insured our calls were returned promptly. David was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain each step of the process clearly and concisely. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to purchase a property, or indeed rent one. Well done to all, especially David.

Very poor experience. The agency demonstrated a clear lack of professionalism, transparency, and basic standards of conduct. Communication was inconsistent, key issues were mishandled, and when challenged, I was met with excuses rather than accountability. Instead of resolving concerns, the focus seemed to be on deflecting responsibility and offering weak justifications. It felt more like reputation management than client service. Trust is essential when dealing with an estate agent, and this agency did little to earn or maintain it. The overall handling of the situation raised serious concerns about their practices. I would not recommend based on my experience. Their subsequent reply to this comment - as you can read - only supports that they are deflecting their poor customer experience and attempting justification.

I’m so glad I chose Your Move Dalgety Bay, led by the wonderful Vicky. From the outset, I explained that I needed a sharp move due to my chain situation and that I was flexible on price. At our initial meeting, she completely put my mind at ease, not only did she find a buyer, she found the right chain-free buyer and secured a price that far exceeded my expectations. What really stood out was how she advised me without ever telling me what to do. Having dealt with estate agents in the past and felt pressured into decisions, this was a refreshing change. I always felt in control, but with all the facts laid out clearly so I could make the right choice my way. If you’re thinking about selling your home and want expert, professional advice, you really don’t have a choice, you must use Vicky and her team.

On first sight this is a young team - but they have knowledge, experience and drive that’s impressive. That combination also helped me sell my house in 3 weeks, having already found a new house (which they sold to me!). Everything was done at pace and efficiently. I knew exactly what the service provided would be, including costs, from marketing to showing the property (if needed), identifying potential buyers and proactively following up interest. I needed a lawyer and was pleased the team could offer names of firms (I chose one, who were very good). Cormac was my primary contact and was first class. He had an endless supply of suggestions and ideas and was great at talking to potential purchasers. He was always upbeat, both when purchasing and selling. But he was equally realistic when talking about potential buyers- I felt I got honest and well-judged assessments of prospective buyers. Vicki came out to assess the house and sort out the marketing. Again, she knew her stuff, which gave me confidence that we were going to get the best marketing for the house. All the way through the process I was kept informed and included in discussions. They were very professional but with room for humour, which was needed at a few moments! They know the area like the back of their hands and added value because of that when I was buying. I can’t recommend the team highly enough. Buying and selling a home is stressful but Cormac and Vicki took a lot of the pressure off me - and got my sale and purchase over the line in the space of 8 weeks. No mean feat!
