I had the pleasure of dealing with Scott Nicol after he picked up one of my viewing enquiries for a property in Aberdour. Whilst we did not proceed any further with the property, I found Scott to be extremely helpful and offered a great degree of insight into the local area and buying and selling trends. However, where I found Scott to be a real credit to YourMove was his proactiveness in keeping in touch as and when properties were about to come to market. Despite the fact that I am not a customer of YourMove, Scott has been extremely impressive in picking up the phone to me when he identifies a property which fits my search criteria - something which my current agent has never done to date. This has really made me question the approach of my agent - why aren't they being proactive? From our first engagement with the company in The Bay we were very pleased with the knowledgeable and helpful staff. Scott helped us throughout the process from beginning to end. George helped us too when Scott was on leave and he was a wealth of knowledge and guided us in the right direction when we were a bit lost. There was also a lovely young lady (whose name escapes me now) who was always willing to help when we needed help. They were always on time and if something was said, it was done too and no follow up from us was ever required. Spoke to Scott at length today about a property I was considering viewing/buying - the property was being sold by a different estate agent. Scott was very informative, spending time discussing the pros and cons of the property and the location. He even went as far as having me email the home report to him and then talked me through it! Earlier this year, George from your move, valued my property, I was very impressed by George’s professional manner. The service was very informative. Since George’s visit he has kept in touch but there has been no pushy sales. I have bought and sold several properties over the years and have dealt with a number of estate agents who, quite frankly, were not very interested, basically leaving me to sell my own house! This will definitely not be the case with Your Move, Dalgety Bay! I have not put my house on the market as yet, but if and when I do I will use them.
