GoogleJust sold my house through your move, Sophie was the one dealing with it for me and couldn’t have done a better job, she knew we were in a rush and told be everything to do and right enough within a week of doing what she said to do We had excepted an offer, couldn’t have been anymore helpful.

GoogleWe had a great experience selling our house with Suzanne and the Your Move team in Dunfermline. They were super efficient, helpful with advice and in constant communication with us which we really appreciated. We needed a quick sale and Suzanne organised everything so that we could list in a matter of days. We then sold our house in under a week thanks to the viewings set up by the team. Would definitely recommend!

The best way to describe the staff & company as a whole is to list adjectives: * Incompetent * Inept * Unqualified * Unskilled * Unreliable * Error-prone * Clueless * Inattentive * Lazy * Unmotivated * Disorganized * Forgetful * Poor communicators * Unprofessional * Obstinate * Abrasive * Flippant * Callous * Insensitive * Domineering * Inflexible * Milquetoast I'd recommend avoiding them, unless you enjoy headaches & stress.

GoogleFirst time owners and we decided to keep the property with Your Move like the previous owner had, in order to keep it simple and straightforward. It's been 3 months now and they still have not paid us any of the rentals! The tenants are paying rent on time, we have promptly provided everything that was requested from us, but all we getting is: "the accounting department is still processing your funds". Very bad first impressions, would not recommend and looking into getting out of the contact.

As with a transfer of ownership for a tenanted property, as a responsible letting agent we must ensure we have carried out all due diligence to ensure both the landlord and tenants are protected fully and we have all required paperwork on our system. The timescales we have on our system do not match up to a 3 month period, as noted in your review, so we are happy to discuss the timescale we have a note of on our system. GoogleAbsolute shambles of a letting agent.would not recommend to worst enemy. Apart from the poor quality maintenance during my stay there and the disgusting length of time it took to get anyone out to fix a problem they also have massively contributed to the ongoing abuse and stress of myself due to their unwillingness to show empathy or care to support in any way. I fled my rented property due to domestic abuse, I begged the letting agency to remove my name from the property and explained the reasons I left for mine and my daughter's safety...they refused. The branch manager that I dealt with Lisa actually told me to my face that when my ex partner was evicted the arrears would be gone and they wouldn't chase me for it, when I asked for this in writing she declined to give it and then flat out denied saying it. I was taken to court and chased for £6000 of arrears that were ALL built up from the month after I left the property. Yourmoves lawyer stated in their case that "I knew the correct procedure to follow to take my name off of the lease and I should have done that"... When in fact they knew I was unable to get my ex to agree to terminating our joint tenancy. They used this to their advantage. Now one year after I have left and not had any access to the property I have been given 14 days to pay arrears that are not mine. Although yourmove has laws they need to follow , I have since found out there were loopholes they could have told me about to help in my dier situation which they didn't. They have also continued chasing monthly despite me not living at the address anymore causing a great deal of stress and anxiety. I will hopefully never have to deal with the company again.

GoogleThe service I have been given by Your Move to sell my property has been amazing from start to finnish. I had delayed marketing my property for a while because I was worried about the stress of the whole process but Suzanne put me at ease and made me feel confident my property would sell. I was keen to move things along quickly to get my property on the market and Suzanne facilitated this for me. Both Suzanne and Eilidh kept me up to date every step of the way and my property sold within 3 days of being on the market. The whole process has been positive, I felt supported and it has been stress free 🙂

Time has rolled on and the Livingston branch has gone but Lesley and her team moved to the Falkirk branch. I have just successfully concluded the sale of a second property in what has been a very difficult market. Throughout the whole process Lesley, Lorna and her team have helped keep me calm when things were slow and ensured I was finally able to achieve a fair price for my property. GooglePlease do not rent houses from Your Move as they always stand with landlord’s side specially in issues regarding your deposit. Currently I am having the same issue and they are rejecting to answer my calls while giving contact details to landlord to get quotations to make deductions from the deposit. In my case landlord is making frivolous accusations regarding the cleanliness of the washroom and try to deduct £175 from the deposit.
As discussed, Your Move have no say regarding deductions from your deposit. Should you disagree with your landlords proposal for deductions then please discuss this with My Deposit Scotland. The tenancy deposit scheme is in place to make a ruling once a dispute has been launched.

They have everything organised including the home report survey and the solicitors. Cormac and Victoria really made the whole experience as smooth as possible and I highly recommend them.

GoogleOn first sight this is a young team - but they have knowledge, experience and drive that’s impressive. That combination also helped me sell my house in 3 weeks, having already found a new house (which they sold to me!). Everything was done at pace and efficiently. I knew exactly what the service provided would be, including costs, from marketing to showing the property (if needed), identifying potential buyers and proactively following up interest. I needed a lawyer and was pleased the team could offer names of firms (I chose one, who were very good). Cormac was my primary contact and was first class. He had an endless supply of suggestions and ideas and was great at talking to potential purchasers. He was always upbeat, both when purchasing and selling. But he was equally realistic when talking about potential buyers- I felt I got honest and well-judged assessments of prospective buyers. Vicki came out to assess the house and sort out the marketing. Again, she knew her stuff, which gave me confidence that we were going to get the best marketing for the house. All the way through the process I was kept informed and included in discussions. They were very professional but with room for humour, which was needed at a few moments! They know the area like the back of their hands and added value because of that when I was buying. I can’t recommend the team highly enough. Buying and selling a home is stressful but Cormac and Vicki took a lot of the pressure off me - and got my sale and purchase over the line in the space of 8 weeks. No mean feat!
