GoogleDaniel and his team were just brilliant, they did all the viewings, telephone calls etc kept me up to date with whatβs going on. I did feel a bit stressful but with Daniel and the team I had no worries at all. The house sold within 10 days! I cannot thank Daniel and his team enough.

GoogleOriginally gave 5 stars as the whole process of moving in was great and Leona was superb, this was over 5 years ago. In December 2025 my relationship ended and my ex partner moved out of our shared rental property and took herself off the lease. I then received an email next day from Yourmove saying if I wanted to keep on the tenancy they would have to do a rent review and got back to me wishing to increase my rent (now as a solo tenant) from Β£875pcm to Β£1350! There was no chance of me being able to pay this on my own and I offered to pay up to to Β£1000 but this was refused. I was then forced to submit a 28 day moving out notice or it would go to court to remove me so I had to seek help from the homeless prevention charity as I was going to be on the streets, with nothing affordable in Edinburgh in the private renting sector for an individual tenant. I got no help whatsoever from Yourmove during this time throughout the festive season where I'm supposed to be enjoying family time instead I was being sick with nerves every morning worried where I was going to go, if I was going to have a place for me and my daughter to live. Quick enough to take your rent, slow to deal with any maintenance issues or they give you poorly "fixed" alternatives, and any change of circumstances don't expect any help or empathy.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. As we discussed on many occasions, I was genuinely sorry to learn of the difficult circumstances surrounding the end of your relationship, and I fully appreciate how stressful and upsetting that period has been for you and your family. Throughout this process we were in regular contact, and I always tried to approach our conversations with empathy and understanding given your personal circumstances. Over the five years of your tenancy, I believe we had a very positive working relationship, and I did my best to support and assist you wherever possible. You were also aware that the rent for the property had remained significantly below current market value for some time. Following the change in tenancy circumstances, I was instructed by the landlord, in my role as managing agent, to carry out a rent review to bring the property more in line with the current market. I did discuss and put forward your proposal of Β£1,000pcm to the landlord for consideration. However, the landlord ultimately decided they wished to redecorate the property and remarket it at full market value instead. At no stage was the intention to cause additional distress, and I am sorry that this was how the situation felt from your perspective. However, as managing agents we are required to act on the landlordβs instructions regarding tenancy and rental decisions. In relation to maintenance concerns, I was surprised by these comments as last year you kindly left a 5-star review specifically praising the promptness of my service and the way I dealt with the maintenance matters. I always made every effort to ensure any reported issues were addressed as quickly and effectively as possible. I do sincerely wish you and your daughter all the very best moving forward, and I hope with time you may also reflect on the positive aspects of the support and service provided throughout your tenancy over the past five years.

They have been guided us through all aspects in the process of selling our flat, always at the end of the phone when needed. Within one week of putting our flat up for sale we had a buyer. Michelle and Danni held our hands through the whole process and answered all our queries, no matter how daft. We wanted the perfect tenant and they found them for us in a very short space of time, very helpful, very efficient and entirely professional. GoogleAfter being given the sad news that due to sale of property my 15 year tenancy was coming to an end I wanted to search for a new place to live immediately but I never thought we would end up with the first house we viewed. The house was perfect for our needs but our decision to go ahead was absolutely down to the wonderful Michelle who organised everything for us and couldnβt have made the whole process easier, I could not have asked for a better experience, all information was given, any questions answered quickly and Michelle kept us up to date every step of the tenancy application. GoogleMet Lorna from the branch at property on 10 April. Agreed fee and strategy and liaised with Lorna and Katie. Professional photographs taken, schedule available and on line advert very quickly. Viewings were set up, managed by Your Move staff, and offer submitted, negotiated and agreed with formal offer within 2 weeks with early entry date. All in all a pleasant positive experience so far.
