GoogleWould not recommend living at Xenia Student Accommodation.
The lift didn’t work the whole time I was there, and no real updates or apologies were given.
What made things worse was the random fire alarms, going off at midnight, 2 AM, etc. Multiple times.
I tried contacting management several times, and while they responded occasionally, nothing was ever properly fixed.
For a student accommodation, you’d expect better support and working facilities. Definitely not worth the price I paid.

GoogleChronicle House is a very nice and comfortable accommodation with friendly and helpful staff. The team is available on weekdays (Monday to Friday), so support is limited outside these times. Please take extra care with your access keys, getting locked out during out-of-office hours can be extremely difficult and frustrating, as reaching staff can be nearly impossible. That said, during working hours, the staff do their best to resolve any issues promptly and effectively.

GoogleWORST PLACE ON EARTH😱😱😱
There was no water for a whole week. Then there was no hot water for months and months. They did not compensate us for any of this. We were left to suffer.

GoogleI have had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience living at Xenia Glasgow. The management is unresponsive, dismissive, and fails to address serious maintenance issues, making it clear that tenant well-being is not a priority.
Repeated Lift Failures, The only lift in the building has broken down multiple times over several months. Despite countless complaints, management refuses to provide a permanent fix, making daily life physically exhausting, especially for residents on higher floors.
Prolonged Water Outages & No Hot Water for Weeks, The building suffered multiple water outages, with no hot water for over two weeks. Instead of fixing the problem, management suggested tenants travel to a gym to shower, an unacceptable and legally questionable solution.
Serious Security Issues, The building lacks proper security, allowing unauthorized individuals, including those carrying knives, to enter. Despite raising concerns, management has taken zero effective measures to improve safety.
Dismissive & Unprofessional Management, Repeated emails and complaints are ignored or met with copy-paste responses offering no real solutions. Instead of acknowledging their failures, they blame tenants and even falsely accuse them of intimidation when asserting their legal rights.
No Compensation for Unlivable Conditions, Despite withholding essential services, Xenia refuses to offer any rent deductions or refunds, leaving tenants to suffer both financially and physically.
If you are considering living here, stay far away. This is one of the worst-managed accommodations I have ever experienced

GoogleMy boyfriend lived here and had a horrible and stressful time. There was no hot water for months, so he had to stay at mine and look for somewhere new to live. There is never a receptionist or staff there. Nothing ever gets fixed. His bed was broken since he got there and over 6 months no one fixed it, after he persistently requested for it to be fixed. There have been several break ins, someone even came into the room while we were asleep. Nothing is ever dealt with. Also, they demanded rent off people even though there was no hot water.

GoogleMajority of my experience of the Robert Owen House by Xenia in Gloasgow was unfortunately bad.
1. Very bad communication by the staff, reception open hours weren’t satisfactory either.
2. The pricing was expensive but the facilities were only basic and condition of things was not good.
3. Due to some accident we lost any access to water for couple of days, it was insane and no refund or apologies.
4. No 24/7 services so if you accidentally lost you card, you had to sleep somewhere else.
5. I didn’t get my deposit back. It’s funny they accept any international payment, but to pay back they take 60 pounds per transaction, plus they said I haven’t paid enough and deducted an amount from my deposit even though I paid everything on time.
6. No clear description on website about the fact that the apartment are missing everything, but they advertise like it’s fully furnished.
Well I can keep on with the things that were wrong with this place.
Altho If I need to find a nice word to say about the place: The location is absolutely great, bath street. And residents ( mostly students) were lovely :)

GoogleWorst student accommodation to deliver to!! They won’t even allow delivery drivers to leave parcels at reception making it impossible to deliver to the apartments! Every flat has a code which you cannot call! If you live here then good luck when you are waiting for a delivery!!
Every other accommodation block in central Glasgow allows for parcel safe store! Not this one!!

GoogleIn 1 year: over 2 months to change a broken fridge; 2 months (straight) with a broken lift (i am on the 8th floor). Days without water or internet. Other minor issues. All of this with them asking for 12 weeks rent payment in advance. Now that I moved out, they haven't refunded my overpaid rent and deposit in the 28 days they were supposed to. Extremely disappointed, this accommodation is not worth it.

GoogleAvoid this place. It is not kept clean and is dangerous.
Reasons:
- Washing machine and dryer are dirty/broken and overpriced
- Reception is mostly empty
- They cheap out on security by geting rid of the security guard even after break ins
- Staff will enter your room without knocking or giving you the notice require in the contract
- They do not uphold their side of the contract and repairs take ages
- I reported a repair and have not heard in other 3 weeks
- Parcels constantly get stolen
- Staff are not helpful and never get back to you
- WiFi is slow
Not worth it.

Googlewould not recommend anyone to stay here!
they advertise a cinema room, but in the 3 years I lived here, the projector never worked despite multiple maintenance requests, and for 2 of those three years, the room was locked. They advertise a common room with a PS4, but there is no PS4, the airhokey table has no puck, the table tennis table is broken, and the pool table costs 50p per game.
Maintenance issues take way way way too long to solve, the lift was out of service for about a month the first year I was here, and I was left with no toilet seat for over 2 months despite numerous complaints about this health hazard, another tenant had no working TV in theor room for almost 4 months despite the fact it's advertised, the multi-gym machine hasn't worked in 3 years, the tredmil has also been broken for over 1 year yet the gym is still advertised. The WiFi is down all the time.the fire alarms go off constantly (except when they brake and Xenia ignore it for over 2 months despite numerous complaints and the fact it's breaking the law!)
When you move out they will also try and falsely accuse you of not cleaning the room and try to charge you £80 so make sure you take videos when you move in and leave to prove they're lying! Luckily, they're also incompetent and don't put your deposit into a deposit protection scheme, which is illegal, so they have to give you the entire amount back.
The whole 1st floor stinks, and I mean stinks! Like actual sewage and has done for over a year, reception is open for like 1 hour a day on week days so they're never there and your parcels always get turned away because the intercom has also never worked. There is also an issue with parcels being stollen from the post room, oh and they don't give you keys to your own post box anymore because they don't know which ones are which.
If you accidently lock yourself out at any time other than the 1 hour reception is open, then it will cost £32 to get let back In.
Oh, also, people break in all the time and reck the common room like smashing the disabled lift because they just leave one of the two doors open.
They also just come into your room without giving any notice at all, like they just get the master key card and walk in without any warning, which is illegal as 24h notice is required.
There's also not 1 fire extinguisher in the whole building despite the fire alarms going off constantly
There's so much more to say, but I don't want to go on forever

GoogleThis place is my worst experience ever.
The building is broken-into at least once a week where I often smell weed and mess up the building facilities and cause chaos, and I have told inform the staff and manager but nobody cares.
Moreover, we have been more than month and half without hot water and they didn’t give us compensation or and reasonable solution, they say we will fix it but they never had.
Living in this place is puts you in a mental and financial danger.
