Trust me, don’t live here, I will live here from 2015 to 2016. The elevator has been broken for half a year, the fire alarm always wakes you up in the middle of the night, and the chairs and sofas will break if you sit on them accidentally. Moreover, the deposit was not refunded when I checked out. The front desk said it would be refunded within a week, but I returned to China a week later and never received my 250 pounds again. Trust me, do not choose here, I used to live here in 2015-2016. The lift was not working for half a year, the fire alarm always wake me up during night, ENOUGH WITH THAT! Do not us their sofa because they are easy to broken. And, I haven't got my £250 deposit back yet, the staff said they will return the deposit after a week when we returned the room. it's already 2018 now! WHERE IS MY MONEY?!

The fire alarm makes me confuse, actually it rings often and most of time it rings at night. Also in the morning, for example, today morning, it rang 10 times in 15 mins. Such a fire alarm can alert people from fire or just give people fright?? Is so horrible.

This place doesn’t even deserve a star. The place is dirty and unhygienic. The students here have been on and off without hot water since January and nothing has been done to sort the problem. Do not live here, there’s so many issues with the place and none of them get resolved. Staff aren’t on the students side and refuse to help us with these issues and attend our meetings.

DO NOT USE THIS ACCOMMODATION! No hot water and fault reported as early as January 2017. Fortis Lettings claim no responsibility and say the freehold is owned by Fortis estate management LTD. It’s dreadful, tenants left in below zero temperatures without hot water. Watchdog has been notified. Landlord taking over £24,000 a week from tenants and NOT taking the situation seriously!

SAVE YOURSELF! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Having no hot water 6 times in 3 months is ridiculous, the company does not respond to complaints, and it takes up to a week for them to put a plaster on the hot water system only for it to break down less than 2 weeks later. No compensation or reduction in rent offered. Paying for luxury, receiving misery. To make matters worse, they have removed the review section on their facebook page to try and trick new tenants into signing contracts to live here. Don't think you've outsmarted us though Fortis, we have screen shot evidence of the reviews and some proving the problem extends back as far as January (well before I signed a contract). Do not be fooled by what may seem like a good deal, i.e. the spring/summer sale. You will massively regret it.

If you like taking cold showers in winter then you’ve found the place! I’ve been boiling kettles for the last 8 weeks to take a proper shower, all tenants are complaining and no one is doing anything about it... and if you’ve already looked at their website let me tell you that most facilities don’t work, cinema room is broken and shut down for at least 10 months now, WiFi connection is so slow that sending a snail mail is probably faster than sending emails , Sky TV is a myth ... you name it it’s all gone wrong in this place, wish Someone told me before moving in. Spend a bit more and go to another decent accommodation

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS ACCOMMODATION! AVOID THAT PLACE ! TRUST ME! It's been 9 months now with large amount of issues! First they made a mistake and let me move-in in a room that has already been led to somebody else, so after two months they made me move out and move-in again but instead of the new room being on first it was on 10th floor. OK! I had no intention to make a big deal of it! But this is the point at which all the other issues began! Main one is the lift is constantly out of order for at least 5 hours and now at the time I am writing this review we had been left without a lift for a week which makes everyday tasks such as doing laundry and so on, hard to do, especially when you are occupying a room on the upper floors or in my case 10th floor! Speaking about laundry there are only 4 laundry machines provided for all occupants! Just imagine thousand people or maybe more with only 4 laundry machines! YES, exactly, constantly busy! Now lets point the issues regarding the atmosphere! To begin with it is cold in general, the heating is not good or more specifically it is a small 50 or less centimeters radiator for a double room which on top of that is turning off on its own. When it comes to taking a hot shower, well you can't! During the months of cold weather there was a period during which we had no hot water for days. Can you imagine temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius with no hot water and also low temperature in the room. YES, freezing cold! Also the management will ignore any try to contact them in regards to complaining about an issue. These are only part of the problems we experienced, and I am saying "we" because I believe other current and ex occupants had experienced the same problems! SO, PLEASE MAKE YOURSELVES A FAVOUR AND DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER DOING THAT! PS: If there was an opportunity to give this place -5 stars I would!
