GoogleOne of the best student accommodations I've ever lived in and also super friendly staff literally couldn't have asked for more. The only thing that I don't like that it's like 20 minutes walking distance from my classes other than that everything is great.

GoogleI lived in room 905 for the previous academic year 2020-2021. Lift broken for almost a month during my stay which is unacceptable when living on the 9th floor. Main light in my room went out and took months to replace. Left in June and despite chasing up with building management my deposit has still not been returned and no update has been given.

GoogleI accidentally left my card inside and locked myself out of the apartment around 7:30pm on Friday. They claim to have 24 hour help line and onsite representatives. However no body was available to help when I called. I then called them several times but the operator simply asked me to stay somewhere else for the night, knowing that I didn’t have my ID or wallet with me.

GoogleI stayed in Xenia students for my last year so n uni. Everything was great, the staff were very kind and friendly as well as very helpful and supportive, I also liked the facilities provided especially the well equipped gym. The corridors and the common room were always tidy and clean. It is worth experiencing the lovely stay in Xenia students.

GoogleI spent all 3 years of university at sovereign/newbank house and would recommend it to anyone looking for private student accommodation in Sheffield! The staff are very welcoming and will help you with anything they can; they make moving away from home much less daunting. Hallways, the gym and study/social areas are always kept exceptionally clean, and any repairs I have required have been fixed within the day. You definitely get value for your money with all the bills included, it could not be made any easier! Thank you 😊

GoogleI have spent my first year at uni here and it has been great! The staff are very friendly and very helpful with any problems. Facilities are great, the gym is well equipped and always tidy, the social area is also always tidy and a great space to hang out or do work. The location is very good, only a 15-20min walk from tesco extra which I found very useful and only a couple minutes from the centre of Sheffield. Also a good distance from both universities making those 9am meetings not too hard to get to. The room itself is well laid out, a very decent sized desk with plenty of space in cupboards and the wardrobe so you won't struggle fitting things in. Kitchen area was great, I have really enjoyed having my own space to try new recipes in and having no fear of other people's mess was a big bonus. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for well priced, friendly accommodation. Thank you Xenia for making my first year at uni a very happy one, even in the pandemic!

GoogleThis will be my third year staying with Xenia Students - by far one of the best student accommodations in Sheffield I’ve come across. Throughout my stay all the staff members have been extremely approachable, helpful, and punctual with my inquiries and requests for repairs. As it may have already been mentioned, the location is also advantageous and, in my opinion, strikes the golden balance between the distance to the city centre and the university buildings. Facilities and rooms are well-equipped & are comfortable, to say the least. Would definitely recommend and thank you, Xenia, for making my stay a very enjoyable experience (with a special thanks to Liam Fairest!)

GoogleThe location is great especially during this online courses period, very close to M&S, co-op, wilko etc. The living condition is good as well, worth beyond the price in my opinion. And stuffs are very kind. Living in the south-facing higher floor can enjoy a lot of sunshine ☀️

GoogleA nice location in the city centre, close to many eateries, shops and bus/train stations. For a studio accommodation in Glasgow the price is hard to beat.

GoogleThey agreed to book a room for me (half year) and four days later, after I paid the deposit they told me I’m on the waiting list because my rent time is less than one year. What kind of apartment would ask deposit for waiting list??? Worst experience ever!

GoogleStayed there for a year and it was the worst experience I had. I initially thought the issues were due to the pandemic but what I experienced went beyond that. The dryers never worked clothes came out cold and wet. If you like your room warm so do the mice and the heaters are locked to only be turned on for 2 hours. Reporting issues on the portal never worked you had to call to report all issues but be prepared to spend some of your money to fix issues. The fire alarms and the call box when off at all hours of the day and night, in a week I only had 2 nights where I could get a full night rest. Getting packages delivered and refund for deposit was a frustrating maze. If you just want a bed and proximity to places to the city centre this place is good for you but if you actually looking for long term accommodation this not great.

GoogleI am utterly shocked by how new student are treated. My colleague who has recently arrived (not local) find herself locked out of her flat and the only response is we can't help you till Monday. No student rep available. Should she sleep on the street? This accomodations are expensive and you would expect some sort of emergency service. If you had a private flat you at least could call the lock smith. I am shocked how a student accomodation would put the safety of a women in a vulnerable position at risk. Its a disgrace

GoogleI visited the robert owen house more than 3 times to inquire about any room/studio available, unfortunately couldn't find any one at reception. Really strange!
